Crolla-Morales for Mayweather undercard

Fantastic chance for Crolla though he will be a massive under-dog. I hope the fight is made at 135lbs though. At that weight I'd give Crolla more of a chance, seeing as Morales will have to boil down to a weight that he hasn't seen in years. However, I would imagine Morales would want the fight at 140lbs.

Big chance for Crolla, he will probably be too small and a little inexperienced for this, but I think most of us in the same situation would take it, it's a dream fight to land and no doubt will be his best payday.

you have to admire crolla. he moves up and takes a risk vs watson at lightweight; and then moves up to light welter to make his name vs erik morales!

reckon crolla will be using more movement this time. win or lose i hope he gets to show off all his offensive skills, and when he returns to his own weight hopefully he gets some serious opportunities rather than getting stuck on the domestic scene.

I hope Crolla lands a few of his trademark body shots. His earmuff style won't work in this instance though. But he has a marketable look and is easy on the eye. His style is TV friendly so a good performance could do wonders for his future career. lets hope he does better than Limond. Following this he can return and defend his title against Willie Limond, Lee Mcallister and Alex Arthur before moving on to bigger things.

regardless of weights, i think crolla has the best learning curve in boxing. sykes, morris, watson, and...erik morales.

crolla hammered a former british name, brodie. let's hope he canbeat morales, obviously a legend on the world scene albeit one who might be getting pretty slow and able to only really fight in spurts (just don't think he could do enough in that memorable fight with maidana).

erik did lose to david diaz and maidana, two very strong guys, but also two of the sloppiest world level campaigers of recent years. crolla is a class act, and if he's going really far, then maybe a faded legend is the right fight for him.

morales can't do lightweight any more. he has to fight lightweights up at light welter, to keep on looking good. i think we have to be realistic about the mexican, despite the persuasive performance vs maidana which made most of u feel all gooey inside. i don't think crolla would stand in front of him - he'll edge in and out, trying to beat terrible to the punch with sharp jabs and crosses and ripping that flabby old torso with that left hook.
