Does anyone know what became of this boxer? I used to watch him years ago up in Sunderland and at the time he was billed as the youngest pro boxer in Britain. Nice neat boxer from what I remember but for some reason I also thought he was a KO artist....unless it was just the local hype.

Would need to read the BN account, but maybe his last fight was a home towner and he got sick of boxing? Some guys also get really cut up about their first loss (even in a 6 round points decision). Undefeated(ish) records can give magical powers of resilience: look at how Joe Townsley kept getting up to see the finish in Adrian Stone's hometown, then the way he didn't want anymore after a second round body shot by Wayne Alexander. Though it's questionable if he'd ever have gotten up from Wayne's body shot considering that power, the draining fight with Stone or not...
Could also have been a health query that cut him short, but with only 6 fights and no KO losses that's probably the lowest of the possibilities. Hopefully someone will know the story...
