If Haye is unwilling to pursue this fight for any reason (including not getting a big enough share of the pot) he should retire.

Haye may as well go for vitali.
Get himself a good trainer with a real gameplan and go out on his shield.
Will this happen ......... No.

No reason why this fight cant happen. Haye needs to swallow some pride and fight for alot less though as he has no belts to bargain with

I think that no matter the outcome I'd still want to watch them fight. I wanted to before the Wlad fight and still do now, a crack at redemption for Haye and a chance for Vitali to take revenge for all the insults, it still holds interest and Haye is always seen as having a punchers chance. I'd also expect a slight change of tactics from Haye, although i would never put money on Haye winning it's got to be more competetive than most fights out there after Adamek. And with Povetkin and Chagaev happening it would be the best run of heavyweight fights we will have seen in a while i rekon.

Well England is the only country in the world where WW2 is still a current event.....

I'm not saying for one minute that it should be forgotten.

But every time an Englishman comes up against a German (in this case it's slightly different I know) the old ''two world wars and one world cup'' chant comes around.

The main reason I support England in the world cup (apart from being English) is because I want people to stfu about 1966

I guess this could be made for December given that Vitali is fight Adamek in early-mid September. I wouldn't go over to Germany again to watch (I'd go if it was in the UK although this is very unlikely) but Haye would get my full support as it would still be a great event. Not sure how he could win though as he'd never stop Vitali.

How could we ever forget it, have you seen the output from 'Yesterday'? Anyone would think WW2 (along with the assassination of JFK) is the only thing that has ever happened in the 4.54 billion years Earth has existed.

That some cretins still see Germany as the enemy 66 yeas after the end of WWII and 22 years after the fall of the wall is "LeedsLad's" point and I agree with him.
Yep agreed. It's bordering on the ridiculous. Germany and Germans are nothing like people think.

To be fair, the fight (either Wlad or Vitali against Haye) does still make sense for all parties.

For Haye, he wants to beat a Klitschko and regain a world title and he clearly will not make anywhere near as much money against anybody else.

For the Klitschko's they know that they will make more money than against any other fighter as well as knowing that they should both win comfortably should the fight occur.

At the end of the day, all three guys are coming towards the end of their careers and are looking to cash out as much as possible. It's not like the division is loaded with great fighters against whom they can enhance their respective legacies. On that basis, the logical choice of all is another fight between a Klitschko and Haye.

Balderdash. Who is going to buy a PPV after Haye's pathetically flaccid performance, against the more reticent of the brothers? Only a damned fool.

There isn't half the money in this fight as there was last time.

I hope the fight doesn't happen. Why should Haye be rewarded for mugging off the british public.

Surely he wouldn't get, nor accept, this shot without having built his bubble back up with a "devastating" prep win?

He'd certainly accept it.

Vitali obviously is quite keen to knock seven bells of shite out of him, but I personally think they should just meet in a carpark somewhere, and do it for free.
