Excellent fight, Lee is very dangerous opponent. Tough test for Johnson at this stage of his career, no doubt about it ...

Did not Lee Duncan get stopped by 30 year old Middleweight debutant kieran Gray in his first fight, to which he looked vunerable to pressure and later lost to Debutant Ross Gardner and Kyle Whitham not the best, he has however improved with a draw against Prizefighter finalist Tobias Webb and an Int Masters title win against Daniel Cadman, but Callam Johnson will be the biggest hardest puncher he has faced, so I think an early stoppage to Johnson looks on the cards if Johnson is the fighter predicted by Naseem Hamed.danfoster wrote:Excellent fight, Lee is very dangerous opponent. Interesting analysis - culminating in a massive 'IF' at the end ...English Wizard wrote:Did not Lee Duncan get stopped by 30 year old Middleweight debutant kieran Gray in his first fight, to which he looked vunerable to pressure and later lost to Debutant Ross Gardner and Kyle Whitham not the best, he has however improved with a draw against Prizefighter finalist Tobias Webb and an Int Masters title win against Daniel Cadman, but Callam Johnson will be the biggest hardest puncher he has faced, so I think an early stoppage to Johnson looks on the cards if Johnson is the fighter predicted by Naseem Hamed.danfoster wrote:Excellent fight, Lee is very dangerous opponent. Duncan's record isn't great but trust me, he is a handful. Dean Powell knows his stuff though and will know all about Duncan. Therefore I can only deduce that Dean must fancy Johnson to work him out.
This fight has all the makings off a promoter who, shall we say, wants to find the level of his fighter and so has given him a stern early test to aid future decisions.

He is known as a big puncher from the amatuers and Naseem Hamed thinks he is the biggest puncher he has seen in years, Naz should know ? Knocking out Journeymen is not easy, that's why Promoters hire them to give prospects rounds and experience. Journeymen know how to survive in the ring.SexySouthPaw wrote:Yeah massive puncher knocked out 1 of 2 journey menEnglish Wizard wrote:Did not Lee Duncan get stopped by 30 year old Middleweight debutant kieran Gray in his first fight, to which he looked vunerable to pressure and later lost to Debutant Ross Gardner and Kyle Whitham not the best, he has however improved with a draw against Prizefighter finalist Tobias Webb and an Int Masters title win against Daniel Cadman, but Callam Johnson will be the biggest hardest puncher he has faced, so I think an early stoppage to Johnson looks on the cards if Johnson is the fighter predicted by Naseem Hamed.danfoster wrote:Excellent fight, Lee is very dangerous opponent. Lee Duncan is boxing Kenny Anderson aswell in Agust. It will be a decent match up, Callum will wear him down and stop him in the last
Re: callum johnson vs lee duncan (light heavyweight contest)
Lee Duncan is very talented and he still hasn't reached his full potential even yet he is still developing don't be fooled by his record late notice fights and aswell as training and working and studying full time.. Lee is good enough to beat Callum or anyone in his weight in the uk If he is focused and switched on he is very dangerous.. I believe when Lee matures as he is still growing into a fighter he can be a world champion... Sounds abit mad to say but he can achieve world level if the Lee who is focused and not got other issues outside the ring is in there but I still think he is growing and is definitley alot like johnny nelson in the sense he wasn't always the most confident but he is alot more confident then johnny was his first 10 fights with his ability... So I wouldn't advice anyone to take him lightly this guy can be brilliant.. He just needs to apply what he can do in training into the ring.. lee Duncan is a darkhorse don't be surprised if he wins and if he doesn't don't think that's the last you will see of him because he will break through when it's his time.. Both fights good for him at this stage of his career give him the motivation..

I hope he he does cause a shock, I am all for boxers turning thier careers around, it is good for boxing and Nelson is a good example of how confidence can change a boxers career.AliAsghar wrote:Lee Duncan is very talented and he still hasn't reached his full potential even yet he is still developing don't be fooled by his record late notice fights and aswell as training and working and studying full time.. Yh definitely his record is very decieving then his real ability and skill he has.. even now i dont think he's matured into the complete fighter he can become..!!
