Briggs went downhill in a hurry, didn't he? Briggs and Green were the only boxers to beat Drews.
Whether Briggs could have beaten Green is debatable.

I Think the Briggs/Ademak vs the Green/Lucas would have been 1 hell of a fight, and it's imo at there peaks for the 2 at that time, that the fact that it never eventuated, cost Australia/world 1 of the best fights in history. Keep in mind they were sparring at these times and Briggs did apparently get murdered(Knocked out) in his last sparring match before the Adamek fight, by Green. Just a bit of trivia.
