Three semi-finals today featured Irish boxers.At 44.5KGS James Cleary reached the final by beating his Armenian opponent 6-1 as did John Joyce at 48KGS who won 4-1.
Tiernan Bradley lost his semi-final 4-0 to his Russian opponent.The remainder box tomorrow.

Matthew Burke became the third Irish lad to reach the finals with a win over his Turkish opponent.
Ireland will take five bronze medals and at least three silvers from these championships.

John Joyce won gold in a close final over his Russian opponent whilst his two teammates won silver.
Russia won eleven golds,there were two apiece for Azebajan and Armenia and one for Ireland Poland and the Ukraine.Britain,France,Germany and Italy did not compete in the championships.
