My treble for tonight

Post by ApolloCreed »

€20 treble on

Bellew points win @10/3
Gavin KO/TKO @4/6
Mitchell KO/TKO @5/1

€20 pays €866 with Paddy Power.

Thoughts?
Really feel Mitchell can do Murray, Bomber will box a little more cautiously en route to points win and Frankie will bamboozle Curtis and stop him.
4/6 on Frankie stoppage is an excellent bet.

What do you reckon lads?

the Bellew fight going to points (or not, as I would suspect) may trip you up there

Can't see Mitchell stopping Murray at all, if he is going to win he'll have to fight like he did with Prescott (not loading up on shots and going for speed combinations over power) If he trades or tries to stand his ground with Murray there's only one winner, but I see Mitchell outboxing him and getting a close decision

lots of different opinions for tonight! im goin for :-

bellew KO/TKO
gavin on points
murray KO/TKO

bellew gets tested early then lands a bomb after a few catious rounds.

gavin's speed and ring savy helps him easily outbox woodhouse but curtis been as fit as he is, manages to go the distance for franky to win on points.

im suprised alot of people are goin for mitchell, murray has the same "go and get em" style as katsidis and i think he'll overwhelm kevin.

I'm going for:

Bellew KO/TKO (cant see this going the distance)
Gavin points (punches often, but as long as Woodhouse doesn't leave his chin out, I don't think Gavin will hurt him)
Mitchell points (as long as he concentrates, he's a much better boxer than Murray)

Having seen the weigh in, I think the postponement had bugger all to do with Mitchell making weight, or having a virus. More to do with ticket sales methinks.

I wonder how many tickets were sold.

I'm on Murray, Burns, Bellew & Gavin all by stoppage. About 13/1

I'm not sure how many Excel holds, but I always thought it was a bit ambitious. Mitchell pulled quite a few at West Ham, but it was a much bigger bill, he was unbeaten, hammers fans went etc etc.

I would be surprised if it had sold more than 5-600 at the time of postponement.

Good bet. I cant see mitchell winning by tko but can see him outpointing murray and comfortably.

a better treble would have been murray by late stoppage (?round 9)... bomber stoppage round 7...and gavin on points. wonder what the odds would be for that lot!!

MAN I AM SICK.
Got the 5/1 and 10/3 parts up but Frankie Gavin - the useless ******** - let me down at 4/6.
For almost 900 quid.
F*CK IT.

Even worse, Gavin was probably longer to win on points. Do a round robin next time mate.

Think he was 5/4 to win on points with Boyle.

Had a very strange week betting this week. Shit the bed on everything but was saved by backing burns in rds 1-3 @ 6/1 after they suspended the round betting due to people lumping money on Burns to win in the 3rd.

I'm sick. F**k Gavin anyway. Yeah, I was 100% confident on him and Bellew, Mitchell was the one I thought might trip me up, but he was razor sharp tonight.

Yeah you was unlucky there. still nice one for picking Mitchell by stoppage, would even have been worth it Putting a straight 20 mitchell inside the distance - hindsight hey :TU:

Always the the thing. If you are willing to put an underdog in an accumulator you're probs best off just laying more on that outright.
