Yep nuff respect to Curtis, he really looks like he's stepped up to the challenge. Raises massive questions about Gavin, but for Woodhouse to take him to a SD, a former world amateur champion, well that is some achievement really even in defeat.

Woodhouse is underrated. I wonder how this would play out at light-welter...

Why did they not show us that fight in more depth, was just a wee taster. would be interested to hear from someone who watched the whole fight, must have been really close. Well done Woodhouse.

Yep he proved the majority of us on here wrong. Well done Curtis, will be interesting to hear what him and Frankie have to say about it.
I got a feeling Curtis will be on here first. Makes me really want to see the fight now.

Well if it went to a SD on a Warren card then it had to have been pretty close!

Frankie Gavin exposed. His fights really are uninspiring and there's no way he wins a world title.

(Unless he will take the familiar WBO route where Brits becomes 'world champions' without the risk of fighting world class fighters)

I would like to see this fight in full..... body language of the two fighters when the cards being announced suggested that a split decision wasn't a surprise. Boxing News apparently scored it a draw. Sky didn't announce how they scored it but it seemed to be close.

Seems like there are some who scored it closer than the person who posted here from the venue.

Gavin is not as good as people having been saying, not shown anything yet to say he be a world champion.

Well done Curtis! Many people thought he would be outclassed here(including me!) but obviously that was far from the case! Massive respect!

x 2 - you seemed to have fun in there.... keep punching....... fight like that any you might give Theophane some problems. You should be full of confidence now...... This was essentially your world title fight and you did yourself very proud.

I appologise for calling this fight a backward step for Gavin.
