Props to Curtis and Coldwell

Post by whiskey »

Hats off to the pair of them.

The sideshow with a 'fro is now a fully fledged fighter.

Being a mercenary, I lost a small chunk on my bet that Gavin would outclass and stop you Curtis, but when i saw the tweets and the actually fight i didnt care because it was a great fight that proved so many people wrong.

I admired your attitude from leaving a soft-touch, highly paid sport like ball kicking, to enter the professional fight game. Now you've actually gotten past that image and now regarded as a contender :TU:

Well done.

I think you should also add Glyn Rhodes to the heading.
Glyn did a great job getting Curtis ready for this fight.

Only saw the brief highlights but it seemed a fantastic performance from Curtis given the comparitive experience and level Gavin has fought at.
Big respect to Curtis, hope your duly proud of your performance, and takes this on now. Proved you can fight at championship level and distance. Hope an English title fite comes your way soon as I feel this would be a good route for you at this stage.

King Geedorah wrote:Three of them did a great job and it was a good fight. Had it by two for Gavin but Woodhouse fought out of his skin and save for a late dip could have pulled out a massive result. Dave Coldwell asked, "Who'd have thought that Curtis could jab with Frankie", during it and the answer is probably Glyn, Curtis and Dave.

Dave also put in one of the fights of the night when a security tried to prevent him getting into the ring to celebrate with his guy.

Small is the new big.

That was funny big lump wouldnt let dave in to congratulate Curtis. Dave should have ran thru his legs that would have shown him.
