Well done Curtis. I made a lot of comments stating you weren't worthy of the fight, lest in with a chance, so I had egg on my face Saturday night. You did what you said you'd do, keep walking forward and try and knock Frankie out, and full credit to you for that. I hope this is a bit of a wake up call for Frankie and should that turn out to be the case, you'll always be the man that gave it to him. You have a lot of heart and now that the Frankie fight is out of the way, I look forward to seeing where you go from here. It's just a pity Sky didn't show the fight  Good luck :TU:

Cheers. I didn't have a great night all in all. I told everyone to expect fireworks in Bellews fight, said that Burns cook would go to points, and that Frankie would either stop Curtis, or win every round. Had a feeling Mitchell might do it but was too busy sitting on the fence to call it  There's always next time haha

Total respect to you Curtis, as you might of noticed from my previous posts I'm a huge Gavin fan and your s/d loss may prove even better then you think if Gavin can go all the way, I would love to see the full fight to score it myself, I as much as anyone on this forum would love to see you achieve a British title one day ! I now regard you as a boxer mate. Your living the dream I always wanted, I boxed amateur and always wanted to turn pro but it wasn't to be, anyway keep improving and good luck in the future. Oh and have a well deserved holiday with your family ! :TU:

Curtis has probly opened more doors and gained more respect in his career with tht defeat than if he went the usual route of 15 wins without even having a tough fight.
Massive result for him and hes the kind of bloke trainers can use for example for lads who are inexperianced or just turning pro.Look at him and realise what hard work fitness and training can do for you.
Hats off to you.
