cool, but dont u agree that there are many fighters already in there that were a lot worse than Mike ? No1 will bat an eyelid when gatti gets in but he wasnt outstanding just exciting.

No matter what Borges may have done or not done, to compare him to Sheehan is a serious knock! If we forget about "Borges-gate" then the guy consistently churns out articles in BM that differ in style and approach from Houston, Farhood, Lillis et al and adds another dimension to the world's best monthly boxing magazine. His peices are often quite deep and therefore not an "easy" read (compared, to say, an interview with a young fighter who has just won a title) - but again that makes for a very balanced overall product imo. Whether you like or loath him, or his work (as this topic has shown) you cannot knock what the guy brings (and I have no massive opinion on "Borges-gate") before anyone rips my above post to shreds....

However, Sheehan just makes blatant, out-andout mistakes almost every single time his stuff goes to print (and while I very rarely read his stuff anymore, any time I do it has mistakes so that is not just a general comment with no substance).

Perhaps Borges shouldn't have his position due to an error of judgement, but Sheehan shouldn't have his position due to a severe lack of knowledge.
