Burns vs Mitchell, vacant WBO Lightweight title, 17/09/11, venue TBA.

Who was it who was saying the other day that the good old (bad old) days of the WBO title being a virtual Commonwealth/European level belt have gone forever?
It's nice to be right. Doesn't happen often.

17th Sept will be too early, judging by the state of Kevs ear and I'm sure Burns will want a decent rest after his arduous work out!

And anyway, Fwank has already filled his Sept PPV with Degale and Cleverly, he'll surely not want to sacrifice any more of his profits paying any more pesky boxers.

If you think Katsidis did a number on Mitchell i think you'd find Rios would do the same only a little quicker.
