Can anyone remember with some certainty what he ACTUALLY said.

I can't quite remember what the question was from Inverdale, I think it was about the heavyweight landscape in general. That only made it even more amusing when Nigel pondered for a few seconds before replying with "Well.. I preferred boxing when it was on ITV".

I don't know if you have heard the exact quote but Nigel did have a look when he said it that suggest "Oh shit, I have dropped a bollock there".

It was all rather embarrassing. What Benn was bascially trying to say was that he wasn't exactly up to speed with the current boxing scene.

Yeh, that was the jist. They just flew Benn in from Spain for a payday.
And paid the price. Benn wasn't interested really, or up to speed wwas he.
Ah well. He could box a bit so we'll let it go:-)
