Does Fury need to move away from family and get a world class trainer to move on to the next level?

Definitly yes.
He is not a very accomplished boxer at the mo.

I think his uncle has took him to the highest level he can...Now needs someone more accomplished with HWs

Fury is a happy heavy, he'll never be a fiercely focussed heavyweight, and therefore I doubt there is a guy out there who can find the buttons to press to get him motivated to do the 8 week camps required.

Manny Steward would do it, primarily because he'd do anything for a chicken supper and a can of tizer.

I honestly think he does. He is far too 'Top Heavy' and a good trainer would be able to identify this. I think on a good trainer for him would be Oliver Harrison. He has developed his fighters excellently. Would show fury how to generate power and would hopefully work on his leg muscles too. On top of this it is not too far for Tyson to travel so he could easily do it

I agree that he needs a new trainer. Never easy leaving family though so i suspect he'll stay where he is till he loses

Maybe but is there nobody UK Based ?? at first thought I cant think of a good HW trainer over here

He flirted with different trainers -Brian Hughes and McCracken over here.

The one thing that really came across on Saturday was that there is a lot of potential there. If he can get his jab going properly and improve his fitness he could go places. He showed a good variety of shots, a decent ish chin and some desire.

Hopefully he can find a good trainer that can take him to the next level.

His uncle has done well but Tyson maybe feels to comfortable with him - he shouldn't be looking into the crowd when your trainer is trying to give you some advice.

America might be the best path.

As has been said, it would no doubt be better for Fury to move to a professional set-up.

But speaking as someone who has seen him and his entourage close up, i would be amazed if he ever did move away full-time.
I do believe he has real potential though and he does have a gear change in him that he hasn't had to show yet.

THat was an excellent win on Sat - he's only 23 and he beat a guy who is, at least, on any view a good british champion - and beat him easily.

Yes, Fury has legs like noodles. I think it's why his punch power is so poor. He's never likely to be a massive hitter, he's not built that way, but they can improve his strength in his legs and make his platform more solid.

yes, he should have focused more on his own charge holding his hands up in the air and inviting tyson to hit him....about 3 times during the fight!!
