Re: David Daniel Contreras (IS) David Ali
Ok, we were able to finally verify David Ali. His first U.S Amature card was issued in May of 1988 and he turned pro in June of 1995. Of course we cannot verify why there was a huge gap in his career, as the CSAC does NOT hold records of fighters inactivity, etc. All we know is there was a matching of Ali's social security number as well as copy of his CA State ID. He definitely was issued two separate Boxing Licenses due to the legal name change in-between the long lay-off. Again, the key here was the verification of the SS numbers as it never changes. Names on drivers licenses and social security cards can change, but the government issued number will always remain the same. The revision of his record will be finalized accordingly, which, if I am not mistaken, should read: won 9 (KO 7) + lost 4 (KO 2) + drawn 0 = 13

We-can-not-take-hearsay;
Dean Louhis would know that in order to change a record we have to have
an official addendum from the original local commission. please call the CSAC.
