Price, no doubt. People overrate the value of winning Prizefighter. KO before midway.

Tough one.

Perez loves that overhand right and if Pricey is vulnerable to any specific shot, it's that one.

If Price can keep Perez at bay and ride out the first rounds allowing himself to settle, I could see him stopping Perez around half way.

I think Price could spark most of the heavyweight division already, and Perez is no exception.

Only the top 10 or so would cause him any problems IMO.

Ive gone for Perez..i think he would get in close&rough Price up&stop him around the 5-7round mark..But i could also see Price keeping him on the end of his long jab&whacking them straight rights on to the cubans head&stopping him(but il stick with Perez)
Both would beat Fury in my eyes

i think people are really overestimating Perez, I don't know if his goal is to be the best. Would love to see him, Price & Fury all progress though

Perez is good but will encounter all the usual elbows against another giant like Price.

Price is there to be knocked out as is Fury but these little fellas are going to have a tough job getting the punches in.

Any heavyweight can be knocked out it hit right or caught right. Please tell me what cuban heavyweight has made it to the top in the pro ranks. There is a deficiency in cuban heavyweights when they go pro.

I think Price wins Perez was flattered by the Prizefighter format. He is too small and doesnt have the head movement and speed of foot to trouble Price.

A close fight, Perez is quicker... But I wouldexpect Price to dictate the pace, fight at distance and tee off with his massive right hand at will...

Though I really hope this fight doesn't happen anytime soon, both fighters could do well to avoid each other and build up their resumes...

And I'm sure Fury and Chisora will be watching them...

The past it Monte Barrett knocked out a fresh version of Fields in under a minute, and Fields always gets blown out early whenever he fights anyone in the top 30/40. My point here is that it's important not to get carried away with Perez's PF showing because he looked impressive in defeating third, fourth, and fifth tier heavyweights. I believe that Price and many other good fighters would have breezed though that tournament if they had been in Perez's spot.

I'm not talking bollocks. Talking bollocks would be stating with confidence that Perez would easily defeat every European HW barring the Klitschkos and Haye.

And in my opinion it is far, far too early to be saying such things, because there are many fighters outside the top ten who are leagues above anyone that Perez has ever defeated.

Do you still think that Perez would easily defeat every European heavyweight barring the Klitschkos and Haye? This would mean easy wins over several fighters inside the top ten, such as Adamek, Povetkin, Chagaev, Helenius, Dimitrenko, and Boystov. Not exactly the same crowd as Manswell, Tony, and Fields, is it?

Perez looks a very good fighter but I think Price would be too big for him. I could see it going in a similar way that Fury-Chisora did. I've also read that some of these Cuban's like the party life a bit too much.

Of course it's ok. The primary function of a boxing forum is to facilitate discussion between boxing fans. Such discussion necessarily requires that members of the forum present an opinion that is open to critique. Sometimes people will agree and sometimes they won't, but disagreement is a requisite aspect of a good, healthy forum; without it, forum dialogue would be insipid and primarily composed of "x2", "agreed", and,

Now back to the schism between our opinions. It's difficult for me to understand why you think that Perez would easily beat world class heavyweights when his best wins came against Kerston Manswell, Gregory Tony, and Tye Feilds. Boxing is all about levels, and being able to succeed at one level does not mean you will enjoy similar success when you move up to the next level. This is because there is a corresponding increase in the amount of ability that a fighter must have to be successful at that higher level: Ray Lunsford was on a different level than Brian Yates, Tye Fields was on a different level than Lunsford, Michael Grant was on a different level than Fields, and Lennox Lewis was on a different level than Grant. In each case the losing boxer had the abillity to defeat opponents of a certain caliber, but not opponents of a caliber higher than that.

While Perez certainly showed that he has what it takes to get it done against third, fourth, and fifth tier heavyweights, he has not shown that he has the ability to do the same against fighters who are significantly more capable. How will he deal with much taller opponents who are skilled and use their height well? Can he take a big punch from a big puncher? Will his stamina hold up over 12 hard rounds? What type of impact will his power have on opponents who can take a decent punch? These questions haven't been answered, so I think it's far too early to be making claims that Perez (or Price) will run through any heavyweight not named Haye or Klitschko or even anyone outside the top twenty. Obviously you disagree with me and that's fair enough.

As for Price-Perez, I'm slightly favoring Price at the moment. I think both men have the power to hurt each other and both men are skilled, but Price's massive size advantage could make the difference.

I'm basing my assumption on styles and amateur pedigree, Perez is a former world junior champion who has developed into a dangerous aggressive heavyweight with a southpaw style and a big puncher with a solid chin, price is also a good fighter but I think Perez would be wrong for him at the minute, Perez was/ is an avoided fighter for a reason as is price
He's very aggressive and has proven he can deal with 6;5 plus heavies in a brutal fashion.
I don't think price would of dealt with that prizefighter line up as easily as Perez .
I will continue to think the same until convinced otherwise, both very good fighters but at this moment I think Perez is better
