If you go through the divisions then there's a chance of titlists in nearly each division.
Heavyweight Haye, David Price
Cruise Herbie Hide
Light Heavy Tony Bellew
Super Middle Brian Magee, James Degale, George groves
Middle Smigga, Macklin, Barker, Murray
Light Middle Ryan Rhodes
Welter Brook, Hatton, Vassell, Witter
Light Welter Mccolskey, Olusegun, Theopane
Lightwight Rees, Mitchell, Crolla, Murray
Super feather Buckland, Foster jr
Feather Smith
Super Bantam Booth, Quigg, Munroe

Mcloskey and Magee both have Interim title shots. Both will likely win. Barker and Macklin are likely to lose their next bouts albeit in a competitive manner. I wouldn't be surprised if Mathew Hatton got a title shot against Jan Zaveck and won it. But one thing im sure of is when the year 2013 rolls in, the UK should have an all time high tally of champs

I think its 8 back in 2007.
We had Haye, Enzo maccarinelli, Clinton Woods, Joe calzaghe, Gavin Rees, Ricky hatton, Junior Witter, and Alex Arthur. If you want to add in WBU and IBO then its more.

I think it will be between

Brook
Barker
Macklin
Degale

Barker and Macklin would have to win in impressive and tough ways but are both capable I think. Both Brook and Degale would get the easiest routes as I can see Brook winning his next one and then getting a legit world title and Degale winning his euro title shot and then getting a lucky shot with a title holder.

Kel Brook has a decent chance. Matthew Macklin has a decent chance if he can get a rematch sorted with Sturm.

Barker and Bellew both have the opportunity, but I don't think they'll win their respective bouts.

Magee has an interim shot. Hide may get put back into WBC contention. If booth defeats Quigg then he is in with a shot. Witter is still a name albeit a very unattractive one. Ryan Rhodes has a promoter willing to push boundaries and this could get him K9

A bit tongue in cheek but the WBA do regular and 'super champions' so could pick up the 'regular' one and Robert Stieglitz is the WBO champ and he would suit degale's style

Being biased to an extent, I think Munroe has a chance at winning the next world title, especially as he is (apparently) going to fight Arce next, a fight which Rendall certainly has a chance of winning. Your thoughts?

Degale will bounce back from that loss, but dont see him winning a world title in the next 6 months at all.

Herbie Hide sure ain't winning one, he's shot to pieces now.

Think Monroe will fall short again. Lacks a bit of pop at world level and he's too predictable.

:o Really?! I'm struggling to see how any of those listed above have any chance of lifting a world title. The likes of Hide and Witter are well past their prime, while the likes of Smigga and Vassell haven't shown anything to suggest they're anything more than British title level (no shame in that).

Until Cleverly beats a world class opponent he's nothing more than a paper champion at the minute, though that's not his fault of course.

Dont rule out Barker, he's the only one with an upcoming title shot at minute. The Martinez fight is obviously tough but i dont think its going to be as clear cut as people think

Suspect you're a force of one on that one. I think Martinez is going to steamroller him unfortunately.
