Does anyone know anything about a fighter named Terry Rondeau ?
I met him a few times in the early 80's, he was a wild man. A friend of mine at the time was doing a biography on him, but they both lacked ambition, unfortunately.
The above link is Terry's stats.

Re: Terry Rondeau
I grew up in Pittsfield, Mass., the home town of Terry Rondeau. I am familiar with Terry in a couple of ways. I first heard Terry's name when I was going out with a girl whose uncle was a man named "Hap" Horan. From what I remember, Hap was training Terry who, at that time was just coming into his prime. He was the baddest fighter Pittsfield had seen. His nickname "buzzsaw" apparently was shortened from the original nickname of "The Berkshire Buzzsaw", Berkshire being the county that Pittsfield is a part of. My guess is that this was the late 60's.
My next memories of Terry probably took place during the 1970's. There was a great outdoor concert venue in nearby Lenox, Mass. only blocks from world famous Tanglewood, called "The Music Inn". They had some good rock acts there in the 70's, and, like clockwork, Terry was always there, but you wouldn't see him until the music started; then, out of nowhere Terry would energetically dance on to the scene, removing his clothes as he made his way to the largest, loudest, speaker he could find. Once there, and totally naked now, he would hold his head as close to the front of that speaker as he could get it , and just totally wig out to the music. Then, as they always did, the police would show up and take Terry away, just as he was beginning to climb the speaker towers. Everybody knew who Terry was, and he always received a big ovation from the crowd. I guess the cops never kept Terry too long because come the next concert, so came Terry, and right along with it, probably Terry's decline. I was surprised to just find out from this site, that Terry actually lived to a fairly old age considering all the pounding a fighter takes in the ring, coupled with the drugs and alcohol Terry consumed. Any way you look at it , Terry Rondeau was an entertaining personality!! R.I.P. Terry Rondeau!!!
