WHO IS GARY MACMILLAN?

Post by cutthecacklebullyup »

Following all the recent bad mouthing by DAVID HAYE a fairly unkown scottish boxer seems to be jumping on the bandwagon by talking himself into fight with former british champ kevin mcintyre.mcmillan as been fairly harsh with his words labelling the fomrer champ a bottler and a dead man walking. looking at mcmillans record i see no reason why he should be confident(disrespectfull).so i ask 'who is gary mcmillan?'

Gary is a awkward Southpaw from Edinburgh. He currently holds the British Welterweight Masters Belt. He won it by beating a over the hill Craig Docherty and defended it again a few weeks ago. I have only saw him box twice. He was due to box Micheal Jennings in a British title elimanator but Jennings pulled out due to injury. Think it would be a good scrap between MacMillian and McIntyre. I think Alex Arthur was trying to get that fight on his first promotion show.

EDIT - just saw the report on the home page. So the fight is happening then. Should be entertaining.

Am looking forward to this fight. I have no idea why McMillan is saying that bout Paul. Pauls a good guy who is very professional, I don't think Paul did that. Will be interesting when they meet at the show in Edinburgh, which they wll because Paul Graham has a boy on the undercard. Gaz if your struggling for a lift there and back al take you that means you can have a beer.

I think this is made up bullshit to build a rematch with Young regardless of the result with McIntyre.

Notice that Young is fighting on the undercard

Am sure Gary was last to win the Scottish Title (against. McMillan) so the belt isn't really a active belt. I haven't actually saw Young box yet. Is he decent? Does anyone know the whole undercard yet?

Nobody from my camp accused AAA of being a traitor that was simply paper talk, what was mentioned is that AAA was seen by Ricky's family members making gestures towards Nicky Cook

i dont really rate him that high , hes more a pressure fighter and the opposition i have saw him against was poor , didnt see his fight with Mcmillan though so dont know what he was like in that,

i have never saw Mcmillan fight i dont think , not pro anyway

if Kevins in top condition which he should be after not long out the Prizefighter training camp then i think well see him on top form again. :bag:

Dont know much about him. I know Colin Mcneil stopped him in a round. I'd imagine the winner of Macmillan-mcintyre fights him.

You personally accused him of being insanely jealous of Ricky Burns to the point of supporting Cook on Eastside boxing

Yes i did,he was seen by family members of Ricky and a scottish boxer making gestures towards NC,he said in the Daily Record the day of the fight he wanted Ricky to win so we found it strange but not suprising that he behaved in this manner.i reiterate nobody from my camp called him a traitor that was purely done to the papers afterall it was the same paper he said that he wanted Ricky to win,so it is a tad confusing lol :witzend:
Alex should just get on with his career and try and do his best in future fights, like to see him and Gavin Rees that would have been a good fight 3-4 years ago imo

Looks like Arthur has intentions of fighting on this
never heard of the guy but sounds decent if he beat arthur as Amateur and win 14/15

will it happen though?
