i gotta go with my countryman Lacierva on this one. His experience should be able to carry him to a victory. He seemed a little too nice in that press conference though. almost lacked that hunger it seemed...

Can someone please explain why this fight was not picked up by either Fox Sports or Main Event?

Seems strange to me that we have an Australian fighting for a legitimate world title and yet the public who are not living in Sydney are denied the opportunity to see the fight live.

maybe most people don't care about billy. maybe if he achieves something decent people will show interest.

Regardless whether it is Billy Dib or someone else I think purely based on the IBF title being at stake this deserved television coverage. Im not sure if it was up to main event standard (maybe with a $19.95 price tag) but someone should have grabbed it. I havent looked at the underacrd prior to posting but it was shaping up nicely. Billy has gone along ok since his loss in the USA. Good luck mate and hopefully Australia can have another world champ after this bout. Buster I know where you are coming from when you say most people dont care but i disagree. i think most "boxing" people docare and should have genuine interest in the reult of this bout. Do we only start taking interest after a fighter wins a title ???

people may have a vague interest in the fight, but few would part with money to watch him.

he just hasn't been able to reach the hype that surrounded him before. he's fighting someone most people have never heard of, so that's not helping either.

How about Friday night Fights on fox or even a replay. As entertaining as the FNF have been, I dont recall any IBF World titles being at stake.

I suppose a results/round by round commentary is better than nothing, so hats off to you guys for sorting this out.

There has been some talk of a feed for overseas viewers, do you know anything about this?

Couldn't do that! Main Event had AFL on free to air in Sydney!

Sounds like Rupert's boys missed out on a payday.

Did they stop televising Roy Jones Junior's fights after he hit Montell Griffin when he was down? Wake up to yourself.
