Holyfield vs. Dempsey...

Post by Goodnight, Irene »

I'm sure I've seen this one done, but I couldn't find it in a search.

The Manassa Mauler & The Real Deal, over fifteen rounds. Who do you like?

I'd like to see this one at 190 lbs, and it's got war written all over it. Don't think either man gets stopped here either.

Dempsey by razor thin decision.

Holyfield by decision or late stoppage. Just too much man and too much skill.

Look at the firepower Holyfield had to put up with.
Bowe,Lewis,Tyson .... each of them twice.

But neither presented the stamina, speed, and continual pressure that Dempsey does. In fact, the best in-fighter of those 3 beat Evander, and Dempsey was one of the greatest in-fighters of all time. If Evander seeks to catch a breath by laying on Jack, Dempsey would be oblierating his kidneys and ribs. Over 15, I think Holyfield's chin holds up, but his body doesn't.

Dempsey TKO 12 Holyfield.
