Who are your up & coming Britsh boxers
So many boxers are on the way up at the moment here are a few:
Andreas Evangelou, Jamie Cox, Joe Selkirk, Denton Vassell but for me the most exiting are Chris Evangelou & Erick Ochieng

Dan Woodgate. Although he's stopped posting here now. Apparantly he's back out on the 16th sept at the elephant and castle.
Re: Who are your up & coming Britsh boxers
Bobby George (British based anyhow), Jamie Conlan, Eammon O'Kane, Karl Place, Mark Heffron, Richard Towers
Re: Who are your up & coming Britsh boxers
Interesting you say they're "on the up", as I think for different reasons their progress has actually been too slow.mcato wrote:Jamie Cox, Denton Vassell
Both have been pros for the same amount of time - just over four years - and yet Jamie in particular has trod water for the past couple.

Robinson beat Ochieng but Ochieng beat Cameron and ranked higher. I was at that Hard Knocks show that Robinson beat Oching and he thoroughly deserved it. He was absolutely relentless and showed a great desire to win. I think he won by KO didn't he? I used to see Eric train at Rooneys - he was a beast on the heavy bag. Please to hear he bounced back with a win as he's got alot of talent and was surprised by Robinsons desire that night imo

I read that he is only around 5 foot and will be fighting at super-bantam, it this correct?DougieC30 wrote:Rocky Wright
If he is roughly that height, he will be a small super-bantam!
Re: Who are your up & coming Britsh boxers
He's small so I don't think hes a kick in the arse off 5ft. Wee stocky lad. I have saw him in his first 3 fights, two being against Delroy Spencer who is hard to stop. He's a come forward boxer who was ranked 6th in the worlld at amatur.

Think i saw in the daily ranger/rebel that he was highly ranked as an amateur - was this a junior ranking?DougieC30 wrote:He's small so I don't think hes a kick in the arse off 5ft. Wee stocky lad. If he is 5 foot surely he should be down at much lower weights if possible?
