new aussie wold champ- peter brennan
Brute will love this one. Peter Brennan (7-16-4) rated no. 149 by boxrec won the vacant Wbf "world" cruiserweight title by defeating the world no.440!!!!!! cruiserweight, one Fatu Tuimanono by stoppage in Fiji. Good luck to Peter but WTF is going on ? Is this a chance for Danny Green to regain a share of the Cruiserweight crown. Only joking......

FATU Tuimanono is yet to be paid for fighting in the main bout of last Saturday's boxing program by Matanuku Back to the Future Ring Promotion.
Tuimanono was a late replacement for the injured Mosese Sorovi and lost to Australian Peter Brennan on a technical knockout in the fifth round.
The 40-year old was yet to be paid when contacted by Times Sport yesterday evening.
"I'm still waiting. I've lost faith in the Boxing Commission of Fiji (BCF)," he said.
"It has happened before and I can't believe it is happening now.
"BCF is under the Government and I hope they can help me."
BCF acting chairman Sakaraia Tuva said yesterday he was sorting out the issue.
Tuva was asked why BCF did not collect boxers' purses prior to fight night as was the practice in all previous programs.
"The situation determined that. The regulation is there but we faced a lot of difficulties on Saturday."
Tuimanono said he signed a $5000 contract after promoter Anania Daurewa promised to also pay the 15 per cent tax that boxers are required to pay.
"I'm a qualified boxing official under BCF. I have a certificate. I was coming to the program as an official (timekeeper)," he said.
Tuimanono said he was first contacted by Sorovi on Wednesday and then on Friday to be the replacement.
"He said he couldn't fight. I thought he was not serious because in the media, the story was something else," he said. "On Friday, Tuva called me saying I wasn't fighting and was the timekeeper.
"Before the fight, the promoter and Sakaraia Tuva begged me to fight. We negotiated for two hours. After the fight the promoter was not there. He was gone," he said.
When contacted yesterday, Daurewa confirmed Tuimanono had not been paid. "I've made arrangements for him to be paid." He refused to comment further.

I think the merit of a governing body is measured by thedesign of their belts, just like governments, the crappier the country the more palatial the parliament buildings.
Anyway that's what I think.
Onanother matter the bestlooking belt to me is the lonsdale belt.
