Nothing against you jeff....just playin devils advocat and wanted to know peoples real views on this..... i think its all a publicity stunt personally for the gym he trains in???? Just a thought

First post and having a pop, fella?

Inaccurate to say Jeff 'scraped' a draw on his comeback...it was a poor card from Mr Latham.

Poor show that fella, Jeff is a top guy and comes across really well on here, hence the backing he got from all the posters.

Come on Jeff, lets av it

his comeback fight was a terrible decision.as for the title shot he agreed to take it & im sure he's stated why it fell through.

how will his gym benefit from this??? not only is that a thought but a silly one at that :!:

Best of luck to Jeff, as a poster on here I will definitely be supporting him, but the reality of it all is that Jeff is yet to beat an opponent with a winning record. In fact the combined record of the opponents he beat, and the time he beat them is 73-306-23.

Most of his fights have been at 140 lbs or below so coming into Prizefighter at 154 lbs having had one bout in five years (a draw against an opponent with a 1-8-2 record) is a huge ask. I'm sure there are more deserving guys out there but fair play to him for taking the initiative in getting some momentum behind his campaign.

Neither John Keeton nor Ovil McKenzie had great records going into Prizefighter a while back and both put up tremendous efforts across the night. Prizefighter is more about entertainment than unearthing a superstar so good luck to Jeff and who knows what could happen. As he said himself, this is his world title shot.

he pulled out of the irish title shot claiming an injury which was false. His gym needs publising...like all gyms do. how many people will want to train at Marees knowing that there is a fighter training for the irish title, and one that is in prizefighter...massive publicity for the gym. I dont blame them...all i am saying is that i hope he doesnt drop out of this opportunity. people need to realise i havent posted to slag jeff off as a person, i read his posts all the time, he's great. I am just putting the other side of it across to see an overall view....jeees!
