Where's Howard Daley?

Post by Bob Wright »

Where is he these days? He used to be a regular poster on here but since his first fight with Lee Kellett he’s stopped posting.

Would like to know what happened in the Zahid Kahut fight last week. The ‘old’ Daley dropped 39 – 38 and 58 – 56 decisions to Kahut but the ‘new’ improved Daley dropped a 60 – 54 decision in their third meeting last week.

Based on the improvement in conditioning and skill he showed in the Kellett fight I would have thought he had the beating of Kahut but on that scoreline he’s regressed.

Hope this was just an 'off' night.

He's probably gutted about the defeat and has gone off on holiday for a week or 2. I'm sure he'll come back and post soon enough mate

Zahid Kahut was in Prizefighter fairly recently - very poor!

I don't know why but people equate someone not being particulary 'skillful' to being easy to beat.

Lots of fighters weren't that skillful but were hard to beat - Vito Antuefermo was an excellent example - by his own admission, he wasn't at all skillful but there weren't many who beat him.

Zahid is tall, awkward, and though Howard has progressed, Kahut is probably wrong for him style wise.
