I think the board will have your licence if your getting stopped regular. Also when your having tear ups every week. The body will just not let you take punishment every week. I think being a good journeyman, is more than proving how hard you are. I've learned that in some fights, trading is gonna do you no favours. The best journeymen, can go on the defensive & do all the little tricks. Go for a walk, wind em up, get em looking for the big shots. It really can be an art form .

Danny Thorpe has been fantastic. & deffo ,1 of the best in recent times. Buckley has achieved what probably ,no one ever will again. Al humid is v good. I've o.ly been stopped twice properly myself. Unfortunately for me, I mark & cut bad but looking thru my record you will see, I have had arguably the best opponents of the current mob. Without cutting me up, you'll do very well to stop me. Plus my antics always get reaction which means one way or the other. I entertain .

aint seen you fight mate but going by your record there's a few that in front of you Delroy Spencer only been stopped 12 times out of 120 lose's and still fighting at 43 i wont mind looking as good as he does at 43
Sid Razak W6 L68 and only stopped 8 times Boxed some good names... Jason Nesbitt W9 L133 D3 Only stopped 11 times.. Billy Smith W12 L97 D2 Only stopped 8times... Nick Okoth


Chris Brophy and Matt Scriven are 2 in your own weight that imo going by record are equally as good as your self.

Sid is one tough little git. Often overlooked . I'm not saying I'm the best mate. We all have our own way of doing things. What I meant was , other than cuts & over zelous reffing , I've only the stoppages against liam Walsh & brad skeete . At 10 stone odd, I have to fancy my chances. Although being a journeyman is the toughest gig in the world & I totally respect all my colleages. Bring on the journeyman prizefighter, lol

ha, me & James are pals. That was not me trying to start a row. I really don't think any of us can really claim to be the best , Ryan ,s a pal too so I'm not digging at anyone. Look alls I'm saying , though were all good at our job. If I was any POP , after 69 fights, I wouldn't have to get up & graft my tabs off at work tomorrow. Saying that tho. I really don't think there's a harder job in boxing! Peace... out!

The matchmaking would be lovely if theyd take it Jeff.You wouldnt beleive some of the replys ov had about patterson.Iv had him turned down because " he trys too hard " " Hes a bit too much for a 5.0 kid!"
When Patt had the cheek too win two fights on the trot he had 3 opponents that were booked pull out on him.
We tried to get better matches and youl notice hes had only a few fights in the last few months he wants to fight hes fearless so we end up taking good lads like liam patrick walsh.
You would not believe how hard it is too get a fair match for someone who comes and gives it his all people just want too know if your going to have a go.

Burton was the daddy alright! PPL go on about Wards fights with Gatti and Sanchez but Burtons/Augustus' tear up with Mickey is my 2nd fav small haller of all time!! Also re. the best journeymen, a very underestimated and extremely tuff guy was Paul Bonson, stopped only 3 times in 130 odd and took the likes of Froch,Bellew,Enzo,Rothman,Thompson and a host of domestic talent the distance- all the more remarkable when you consider his style. Another guy i boxed as an amateur was Boothy and believe me the guy really could have been a champion.
