Feel my pain from the season I had Robinson....
Aye, 'tis both a blessing and a curse to have a fighter of this caliber.

Couldn't sleep and I had this whole thread with all these facts and statistics about the season thus far typed up and I hit submit and I wasn't logged in. :o :witzend: :x It was some of my best work.

Now it's all been lost and I've lost the will to do it again. Image

How many seasons is this for Crease? 4 or 5? You would think he'd back into one at some point.

Also George Foreman has been knocked down 13 times in 10 fights, while Marciano is the only fighter yet to taste the canvas.

Bah, I'll do it again tomorrow.

Believe me Commish, it is not for the lack of trying...

However we all know that some Managers like to take the easy fights (to try and keep their title reigns going) and the likes of Roberto Duran and Marco Antonio Barrera were not given shots for the major titles when they were elligible for them.

While I always unveil my statistics (which are updated every week) regarding the world champions, it is difficult to take into account those fighters which are continually avoided.

In seasons gone back the likes of:
Tommy Loughran (Light Heavy),
Sugar Ray Leonard (Welter)...who only got his opportunities toward the end of the season.
Jake LaMotta (Middle)... Who continuosuly found himself without a fight toward the end of every weeks matchups.

This season it could very well turn out to be Joe Louis is the most avoided fighter this season. The ONLY fighter (to date) to call him out for a fight is Muhammad Ali, managed by the HOFer known as Kevo.

This is why, in days gone by, that I have accused certain Managers of cronyism and all this: "keeping it in the family" type of behaviour that we see from the Shellsuit Mafia and The Alliance.

Undoubtedly, there are benefits to being alligned with other Managers, but to truly test your steel in the Sim, it is better to go it alone and work for everything you've got.
The way that Don Krease has.

INGEMAR JOHANSSON
NIKOLAY VALUEV

If thety both run as well, Joe will settle for:

We just defeated the WBC champ who just defeated Ali........You are a certified numbskull who have just threatened to schedule your man against "the 3 parameciums". Now once again I ask you to STFU....in order to restore sanity to this discussion.

First it was the malignant mishandling of Duran....now the lousy stewardship of Joe Louis.....it's simply heartbreaking that you are allowed to roam these hallowed halls, where up until your arrival, COMPETENCY was the coin of the realm.

You are the epitomy of what is known in sim circles as "the lowest common denominator".

I'm afraid that you are forever destined to be mere..."Grist for the mill".

I suppose "restoring sanity to this discussion" means turning a blind eye to all GoldenBuzz's Promotions antics and not confronting them.
In a word: NO...
I will continue to call you out on your misdemeanours...

CORRUPTION was the coin of the realm, as could be seen in Marquezgate.

Fight declined... Joe has already disposed of your fighter once before (in the 1st round no less) there is little point retracing the same old steps.

Valuev or Johansson have been called to the fore.
