Liam Cameron
Its being circulated around Sheffield that talented Sheffield boxer Liam Cameron is now being trained by former World Light Heavyweight Champion Clinton Woods. Can someone either deny or confirm this please?
Re: Liam Cameron
off topic, i think he should of tried getting in prizefighter with his ameteur skills and poor line up (apart from the human windmill) this would be very winnable for him i no he struggled with the weight but pfs always a few pounds over the limit, great way to get his career on track and raise his profile

Re: Liam Cameron
Liam, just curious - did you not consider moving on to one of the more experienced Sheffield trainers, such as Dom Ingle, Dave Coldwell? Not in any way a dig at Clinton - just wondering what made you go with him?
Also, Chris Smedley has been training kids for years and had a lot of success in the amateurs - it just seems strange that you'd leave a fella who'd brought you all the way and move on not to a more experienced or proven pro trainer, but to someone who in purely training terms is a bit of an unknown quality.
By the way, this is not a dig at Clinton at all. I was a MASSIVE fan of his when he was boxing and sincerely wish him all the best as a trainer

Re: Liam Cameron
Thing is Clinton had a text book boxing style which may suit Liam a bit more. The Ingle style is not suited to everyone
