george richardson allways brought fire if anyone remembers him.

emmanuel burton internationally was the guvnor & WAS good enough to easily win a world title.
Burton was the daddy alright! PPL go on about Wards fights with Gatti and Sanchez but Burtons/Augustus' tear up with Mickey is my 2nd fav small haller of all time!! Also re. the best journeymen, a very underestimated and extremely tuff guy was Paul Bonson, stopped only 3 times in 130 odd and took the likes of Froch,Bellew,Enzo,Rothman,Thompson and a host of domestic talent the distance- all the more remarkable when you consider his style. Another guy i boxed as an amateur was Boothy and believe me the guy really could have been a champion.
Your right about Bonson. The man had an incredible chin. Boothy was also only really a natural Middleweight at the most yet he was knocking people cold up in the Heavies! Both very tough men.

you have to laugh out loud at people who calls them self selves journeymen, just because they have lost fights, journyman status is alot more to it.

You know what James. Your fornicating spot on there. I agree 100%. It's a craft. I'm proud as to do my job well. When the boys come out & get ironed in 10 seconds regular & then get called journeymen really gets my goat. I think were all comfortable in knowing were more than losers & essential to the game. Talented in what we do
