femi... what are you doing?
femi... what are you doing?
little femi fehintola, nice little boxer but who has only ever beaten 2 fighters with positive records (in over 20 fights!) goes in with carl johannesen on sept 3. (great little bill this by the way). carl has already stopped femi brutally when they clashed a few years ago.
not sure why femi is being given this match up, he is either brave or daft of thinks carl is over the hill and there for the taking! i think femi should have had another couple of confidence builders after his boxing break and maybe gone for an area/masters title.
is this a step too far for femi? what do you guys n gals think?

Joe Hughes v Chad Gaynor will be a cracker on this bill. Former ABA champion against a fellow unbeaten prospect. You don't get that often.
Re: femi... what are you doing?
The only way this fight dose not happen is if femi's people pull him out after agreeing the fight when this bill was put togetherrhino222 wrote:thats what i thought, we will wait for confirmation from frank maloney..dazzer wrote:Fight will not happen, theres your answer?????
Fighters have to fight now days the days of having the home conner winning before the bell goes are long gone now, The fan's and TV want good fights now and is our job to do that. Any way Carl is not the same fighter he once was and he knows he has to prove himself to stay in with a chance of a title fight. Fighters and trainers have to understand the fight game has changed and a lose is not the end of the world or your career.

Yes, it's an intersting one David.
I just think Ian will go into survival mode, and that Josh's work rate my well be the telling factor.
It might be different if Ian had a concussive shot, but he just doesn't.

I hope so mate.
Just think he needs to be less one dimensional.
That all action style is great if you miss the shots on the way in.
