Jon - If you have a look above, I quoted your original post, which I pretty much agree with, minus the vitriolic, childish drivel, which I removed.

I've said before, you should wash your words clean. You'll find a lot more people will agree with you, and you won't come across as such a w**nker.

I was going to suggest to Danny Flexen that you'd make a great guest editor of Boxing News, but you've f**ked your chances now. Gobsh*te.

Dan - (why is it lawyers always send me messages that go "Jon -"?? I kid you not Dan)

I hear you and i respect you but please hear me, I stand 'firm' (the reason I know this is becasue I have had a barium meal today:-) regrading the type of lowlifes that are into bare knuckle etc as kinda like the romantic vision of white collar 'fight clubs' it aint, this if real is a new low in fighting and i am offended so i ant to word it as strongly as i can.

I write the way i write because of nothing other than pure passion and love for this sport.
You know I really mean it when i say that there is a dark element in the lower level of boxing which disgusts me and I am strongly against this stuff, these people are scum...sub human scum and we must eradicate them from the earth of given the chance.

BTW I regarding the last BN post I was seriously having a laugh with you, I thought you might understand this.

Sorry if I aint PC (I actually got pulled up for taking a kids ping pong class about 4 weeks ago and swearing 3 times, which I never even knew I did BTW) I honestly write the way i speak and vice versa.
I know it can be cold, mad, mental, etc etc but please bear in mind that I am not playing with a full deck or maybe way too many cards and that I am somewhat eccentric in my ways, that said I am a good person with strong and sometimes harsh views, they are not bitter views like some US boxing writers just the veiws of a guy that is a pure boxing fan through and through and all this sideshow shite can fuk right of back to the hole that it came from as it's barbaric and an insult to our sport.

Peace mate.

PS I was going to send this via a PM but as you posted yours in public I thought it to best the best way of responding.

Classless and uncouth and anyone who likes it should be barred from this forum or simply go out and fight a bare knuckle match themselves and then go hang out with the scummy mutants that promote this lowlife freak show.

Just like UFC this to me is an example of the decline in modern culture along with the further dumbing down of the already dumb masses.

Looks like it would take off bigtime though :(

Yep Jon you're right, UFC is not far from the old bareknuckle thing and it attracts the odd bloodthirsty meathead.

Got a press release on this last week. Saw it say "bareknuckle" and didn't even bother reading the rest.

Ladies and gentlemen, we are now cruising at 35,000 feet. Those of you on the right side of the aircraft should be able to see the top of slapbangwallop's head.

"bareknuckle boxing" has always sounded like a simile for wanking to me.

English buffs, is the phrase "sounds like a simile" a simile in itself?

At least someone got it Oliver. It kinda takes the sting out of a joke when you have to explain it! :D
