Predictions for Buzz's fights: weeks 11, 12

Post by Crease »

Don Krease predicted in it in the Week 10 results thread...
(And he didn't even need the help of Mystic Greg)

The prediction, as it was:
Crease wrote:Don't be silly Mr. Kevo, we all know that it is guaranteed BoxBuzz will take the easiest possible fight for Marciano.
:shame: :shame: :shame:

ROCKY MARCIANO

His prospects are:
1 Louis Joe
2 Ali Muhammad
3 Charles Ezzard
4 Jackson Peter
5 Lewis Lennox
6 Stribling Young
7 Frazier Joe
8 Foreman George
9 Tyson Mike
10 Johnson Jack

So, it will probabaly be Young Stribling or Ezzard Charles...
:TU:
Then in the Week 11 match-up thread:
BoxBuzz wrote:

Or....he can vye for the WBC.
If he declines, Young Stribbling is offered the shot.
And the result was ultimately:
tzyuforever wrote:WBC HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE
BOXBUZZ VS P4P1
ROCKY MARCIANO VS EZZARD CHARLES

And the evidence speaks for itself. Buzz should be stripped off the WBC Title for bringing it into disrepute.
I think that is fair.

BoxBuzz, I speak now directly to you, and I challenge you to answer this question honestly and directly:
The questions is:

Now that Rocky Marciano holds the WBC Championship, are you going to continue taking the easiest possible fights?

As can be seen above, there is no doubt that you have taken the easiest route for Week 11.
Why did you not fight Louis or Johnson or Foreman (just to give these guys a shot at the title, as they haven't held it before).

Crease charles is the most well credential contender former champion until his sole loss was the top rated fighter in the sim he is now the top rated fighter to not be wearing a strap by the rakings that matter - the commish rankings I do not beleive Charles is the easy way out if anything he is the hardest fight Or second hardest to Ali he is 9 - 1 with 6kos and in no way an easy way out

Either way you look at it, Charles is seen as the easiest road.

There are 2 ways to examine it:

Number 1: The "Historical" perspective:
If you care to scan through the various topics of "The Greatest Heavyweight" over in Boxers Of the Past, you would be hard pressed to find anyone who rates Charles higher than Jack Johnson, Joe Frazier, Mike Tyson or Joe Louis.

Number 2: The BoxRecSim form:
Upon examining Charles' record, you have bolstered his ranking by feeding him lower class fighters...
Such as; Ibeauchi (twice), Madison, Butterbean, Bruno and Monte Barrett.
And you had the easiest possible road to get a title shot back in Week 7...
(beating Madison and Wills for the IBF Title)

Compare his record to any of the other fighters I have named:
Joe Louis has beaten: Liston, Vitali Klitchsko and Jeffries
Jack Johnson beat: Tunney, Holyfield and is the current Prizefighter Champion
Mike Tyson beat: Foreman, Frazier and Fox
Joe Frazier beat: Lewis, Moore and Schmeling

Any of the above men deserve a title shot more than Ezzard Charles.

I'm afraid a man who can do no better than an even exchange with Greg Page, (easily dispatched by the Rock) has no real credibility as a worthy contender vs the undefeated, undisputed champion of the Sim, Namely Rocky Marciano. Also you will find that the Rock had plans to fight Holyfield, but Holy was beaten and the Rock had to go out and defend his honor, as he recently defended Ali's honor by avenging his loss AND Jack Johnson's loss as well. And yes...your man Josephine needed the Rock to step up and show that chivalry survives!

Now it's time to stop the blathering!

The Rock steadfastly defends the honorable legendary "ladies of the sim". And should be admired and valued for his unequaled contribution.

Crease you are imaginitve and desperate if not worthy.

Hmm, the bigger picture. The bigger picture is that Striblings best wins are better than Louis's and he's beat someone who Louis lost to :o

Whats ya point?

The bigger picture is that Joe Louis is The Number One Contender for all the major titles...
:OhYes:

Stribling only gets title shots because he is seen as the soft option...

Let's ignore the Title Eliminators, and look at the quality of opposition Joe Louis has faced by choice, with no ulterior motive other than the time-honoured Sim tradition of picking good fights:

Vitali Klitschko - Third from bottom in the first round of the draft, and certainly no more than a lower tier top 20 HW.

Joe Jeanette - Fifth from bottom in the first round of the draft, and probably not even a top 20 all time HW.

Sam McVey - Eighth pick in the second round of the draft, and probably not even a top 30 all time HW.

James Jeffries - Seventh from bottom in the first round of the draft, and at a similar level to Vitali Klitschko.

Greg Page - Not even a top 50 all time HW, and a CPU fighter.

Jimmy Young - Not even drafted, not a top 30 all time HW.

Jeffries (again)

John Ruiz - Fat slob, not a top 100 all time HW, CPU fighter, crap.

These fights were all taken by the number 2 draft pick, a definite top 2 all time HW, the protegee of the noob. Not once has he faced a top 10 draft choice by choice. Pathetic. And he wonders why nobody wants to give him a title shot.

Don't you worry your little head, little bitch.

Louis will be going after "the names" after he wins that elusive first world title.

Well Joe may have the potential to win a world title but I think the best thing for joes career would be firing his manager as the managers name speaks for it's self.. Directly speaking to Joe I am saying work out a deal with your manager and me we will swap 1st pick for 1st pick and I will get you that elusive world title!!!

Prediction: BoxBuzz will fight for Week 12:

Marciano will fight either:
Young Stribling
Peter Jackson
Ezzard Charles (rematch)

Probably won't fight Charles again due to the scrutiny he would receive...
But he will definitely be looking at Stribling.
