Looking for promoter WBF(World Boxing Federation)title fight
Looking for promoter WBF(World Boxing Federation)title fight
We are looking promoter for Rohit Singh (Heavyweight Boxer)based in Auckland NZ next fight which is WBF (World Boxing Federation) International title or WBF Asia/Pacific title. WBF (World Boxing Federation) International title I believe Rafael Zambano from Brazil is the current Champion and WBF (World Boxing Federation) Asia/Pacific title is vacant.

There are reports his record is 24-0 with 24 Ko's, his record is better than Kali Meehan, Michael Katsidis, and Daniel Geale, yet no-one knows of him, I've also heard this record is fake and cannot be substantiated
However, I have also heard he's been training and sparring with David Tua in NZ
Could you please tell us, what his actual record is, and i am sure something can be done for you.
Cheers, Brad
Re: Looking for promoter WBF(World Boxing Federation)title fight
I can recall Rohit knocking out a bloke in Toowoomba & on Mundine's undercard on Gold Coast

Re: Looking for promoter WBF(World Boxing Federation)title fight
24-0 24 KOs why bother with the WBf, He should be fighting Wladimir Klitshko

Re: Looking for promoter WBF(World Boxing Federation)title fight
No way would Wladimir Klitschko fight him
Re: Looking for promoter WBF(World Boxing Federation)title fight
Apparently this is his record. Whilst I can't dispute Fiji fights....of sorts, I most certainly can OZ & NZ

Re: Looking for promoter WBF(World Boxing Federation)title fight
Certainly didn't fight on this NZ card on Aug 19, 2008 http://boxrec.com/show_display.php?show_id=556231
No harm in trying I guess. Managers gotta earn their 20%

I suspect Rohit is seeking permanent residency in NZ & requires self supporting credentials, hence all the bullshit

Re: Looking for promoter WBF(World Boxing Federation)title fight
Hey Guys,
It nice to see a lot of replies on my post... seems like I was able to create a Buzz for him.
ohh well thank you for the fabulous response.
Seems Like his record is impressive for everyone to post a comment on my post.
@Brad..I m sure like me you can see the record approved by P.B.W.A of Vanua Boxing Association which is posted on the forum. Besides that I am sure if you a person who is ABLE to do something for us...I can provide you with all the evidence and documentation to prove his record is legitimate.
@ Ben k Thank you very much for the compliment....however Rohit wants to fight for WBF at the current stage.
@ Deno We have already provided Box Rec with all the evidence about his 24 KO's and I am hopeful it will be updated very soon.
@Da Voice..Thanks mate for presenting evidence about rohit's record. I assure you that Rohit is not seeking Permanent residency in New Zealand , as he already has a Permanent Residency.
Please visit immigration.govt.nz to get more details for Permanent residency as I am sure its very easy for people from Fiji to gain their residency in New Zealand.
As far as the 20% goes every person has the right to earn for their hard work. I am hopeful you earn by doing hard work and nothing else
.
And if you really think its bullshit...I am sure you wouldn't have wasted your time replying to the post and finding his record.

Re: Looking for promoter WBF(World Boxing Federation)title fight
FYI my friend, I been keeping Oz, Nz, Fiji, Samoa etc records for quite some time & am a Boxrec editor/contributor. I also have a person, who's been keeping records of same since he was in nappies (so to speak) to assist me if & when required.
Same person is also Queensland State fight supervisor & has been for yonks. Care to tell him Rohit KOd some bloke named Steve Brown in Toowoomba on 28/9/2002 & Sunai Mark on Gold Coast on 27/6/2007 ??
I, like Brad, reside on Gold Coast & neither of us have ever heard of Rohit nor Sunai
Can't say for sure, but it's quite possible Brad reffed/judged in Toowoomba
I suggest you have a clear understanding of WBF (Federation) & WBF (Foundation)

Re: Looking for promoter WBF(World Boxing Federation)title fight
Or better still i have a fight for him August 25th on my show in Auckland, if hes legit it should just be a tune up for him
DD considering he hasnt fought for some time you think hed be keen to have a "tune up" shake some rust before this proposed WBF title fight???
So drop me a message or call me 021-717014 and lets get it on!
Although having dealt with this Rohit character before hes all smoke and no fire

Re: Looking for promoter WBF(World Boxing Federation)title fight
This guy is full of crap. In a previous post (now deleted) he made the obviously false claim that Singh was ranked #21 in the world, and I think that reflects on the veracity of his other claims.

Already tried calling Bhavin..............no answer...........should i be suprised?

Re: Looking for promoter WBF(World Boxing Federation)title fight
Just spoke with Rohit and Bhavin.............iam dumbfounded! They do not want to fight unless its for a title fight and they are wanting a promoter to put him on as a main event in a title fight...........good luck. I asked when he fought last they said 2010, i suggested maybe it was a good idea to get some ring time in either a 4 or 6 rounder considering his inactivity (thats if he did really fight in 2010 which i doubt) they then said no they only want a title fight. I then suggested it be a good idea to prove to a potential promoter hes worthy of a title fight by actually fighting even in a 4 or 6 rounder they said he doesnt need to prove himself as they have sent in his record and all the documents to be put on boxrec...........once again i suggested if hes is good as his record suggests even though its not on boxrec as yet, he should still consider a "tune up" type bout as is common practice generally when you havent fought for a while. They still say no. I asked why no one knows him (i know him cause i dealt with him last year when he agreed to fight then goes missing) if his record is so good. No answer.
He turns up at the ABA in auckland asking for fights every 2nd week, but never fights..........complete wastes of time!
I know Bhavin will read this, I spoke to you on the phone come fight August 25th and prove yourselfs so far everyone thinks your a joke! If your into pretend sports turn Rohit into a wrester and join the WWE, this is for real i have a spot for you august 25th its your chance to prove me and everyone on here wrong, or at least demonstrate your willing to fight!!
I said id promote him in a title fight after he proved himself august 25th first, yet they still decline. I know this is because Rohit never intends to fight, or if he did hed no doubrt loose and loose badly therefore showing himself up for who he really is!!

Re: Looking for promoter WBF(World Boxing Federation)title fight
Should've got Thailand Boxing Commission to knock-up his record. It would've been far more believable

In Fiji Sun on July 8 - Referring to a fight on this show http://boxrec.com/show_display.php?show_id=623039
Meanwhile, New Zealand- based heavyweight boxer Rohit Singh has issued a challenge to the winner of the Petero Qica- Mosese Kavika heavyweight title fight.
"I want to fight the heavyweight champion of Fiji," the Lautoka-born boxer said, before flying out of the country yesterday.
Singh claimed that he has being training with former heavyweight top contender David Tua in Auckland.
He pointed out that he will be following the fight closely and will fly in to sign the contract once a promoter is prepared to stage the fight.
"Right now it's either Qica or Kavika for me," he said.

Re: Looking for promoter WBF(World Boxing Federation)title fight
Buster, I need a heavyweight to fill a spot on my card so seen as these guys came on here I decided Id show them up for who they are I no they wont fight but it'll just add weight to the fact they are idiots. And if god help us they accepted then it helps fill my spot, can only but try my man. At least everyone on here now knows they have been offered a fight and they flat out refuse it cause its not a "title" fight.
