I don't believe I did, Brute.

I think I said he'd be a welcome addition to the pro ranks here.

Brute, do you have a problem with people having opinions that differ from your own?
No, just arrogant pommies.

Brute, you sound like a caricature from the early 70's.

I will take that as a compliment.

At the time Ganoys camp offered Zappa out, he would of lost to Ganoy, Zappa vs Ganoy now would be a different story, Lenny has improved so much since 07 - 08.

Where are all the experts now about Zappa having too much for Ganoy?

Zappa got zapped and if it had have been Ganoy, Ganoy would have taken Zappa's head off as he punches twice as hard as Diaz!

I think the telling factor in this fight was height, reach and elusive movement, 2 guys that have beat him now were much bigger good at a distance, and Lenny's plan was as usual come forward, he got tagged by an absolute cracker from no where in the second, and that was all she wrote....I don't see how this justifies Ganoy taking his head off, being 5,5 tall and obviously shorter than Zappa.

Another varying factor Lenny has the better resume over the last 3 years.

Lenny's only 23 he'll bounce back, some of these fights with Ganoy, Wills(At Lt Welter), Egberime(At LT Welter), to rebuild locally. Or maybe a couple of tough Philipinio imports, like Rey Labao, Czar Amonsot, Anthony Marcial. Either way some building while working on a new style.

I Guess it's time for Ganoy to actually start walking the talk, because he's been feasting on Thai Taxi''s for 3 years.

Fair to say I guess you will.

All the names mentioned above have been offered the fight at 140lbs and all want no part of fighting Ganoy, as has Lenny's team who have knocked back the fight on MULTIPLE occassions.

Under Ganoy's new management and being trained superbly by Graham Shaw, you watch where Ganoy's at in 2-3 fights time, he'll be right in the firing line for a shot, mark my words.

If Lenny re-builds and wants a top domestic scrap, he can get it anytime he wants.

He got tagged all fight, what fight were you watching!

As I said and it has nothing to do with height, it's all about punch power and your kidding yourself if you think Diaz hit's harder than Ganoy. Lenny would have been in dreamland if that had been Ganoy.

Mate, he got squared up and dropped by a beautiful punch that was sweatly delivered, and if you watched it was delievered from distance......end of story. He got hit a lot yes, but my point was that punch that came from no where and dropped him in the second, was the telling punch in the ned result.

Mate who said anything about Diaz hitting harder than Ganoy, and what world do you live in? if a man with skills has height and reach it makes all the difference....are they unstoppable...No. But if a fighter with average skills small height and relys solely on power enters the ring with the above description, it can end bad.....

Please don't twist my words, i clearly stated my intention in the post, and it had no grub tactics that was leading to a debate about who is better.

Point is Ganoy's not in the mix at the moment and in fairness Lenny has a win over Ganoys last real opponent who smashed Ganoy.....not a lot of people will disagree with the fact that Ganoy can punch, the lingering thought for the majority has always been ...can he take one!

Styles make fights, Ganoy is a decent fighter. could he Ko Lenny possibly, there's as much chance that he gets caught also. Lenny has big power and Ganoy has been stopped 5 or so times i think.
Ganoy wouldnt beat Katsidis at this point of time, Katsidis is fighting the worlds best, which is worlds apart from the guys Ganoy is fighting.

Good post and good point Ben, I think Katsidis would be too much for Ganoy at the moment, I reckon a rematch would end much the same as their first encounter. Ganoy seems to like to fight boxers (lets face it, he just likes to fight as he seems to fight whoever is put in front of him). I don't know that he would beat Zappa at the moment, but I wouldn't put money on the fight as I also don't know that Zappa would beat him. You're right, styles do make fights.

Katsidis said after last night's fight against Lozada that he hopes to fight at super lightweight from now on.
