not for the first time this year. Their boxing odds maker must be getting the sack soon. They usually have the best odds.gasman wrote:I would just like to thank those good chaps at Boylesports haha![]()

The last three rounds of the Coveney fight are now on TG4
Re: Eade vs Coveney
Thanks for the heads up on the odds, I opened a Boylesports account just for those prices. Coveney is a good wee fighter, I have been impressed with him when I have seen him. Also, the odds on Sweeney KO/TKO 2/1 were a gimme.slapbangwhallop wrote:not for the first time this year. Their boxing odds maker must be getting the sack soon. Just watched the last three rounds, pretty close. Just goes to show you, get good match ups made for the Irish titles and you have got a good night of boxing.

It wasn't worldwide. The stream was not made available for residents of Canada. Gosh, there were so many Irish immigrants to Canada, too: Cabbagetown in Toronto was an Irish enclave at one time, maybe still is (Shawn O'Sullivan, so proud of his Irish roots, boxed for the Cabbagetown club).gasman wrote:There will be a free worldwide stream for an Irish boxing card on Friday night. The boxing is being covered by Irish terrestial TV channel, TG4 from 9.30pm and the free legal stream is at http://www.tg4.tv
The full card is:
Henry Coyle V Elio Cotena - WBF Light Middleweight Title (12 Rounds)
Patrick Hyland V Fabrizio Trotta - Featherweight (8 Rounds)
Finbarr Eade V Mickey Coveney - Irish Super Featherweight Title (10 Rounds)
John Waldron V Michael Sweeney - Light Heavyweight (8 Rounds)
Paul Hyland V Dai Davies - Super Bantamweight (6 Rounds)
Darren Cruise V Lee Murtagh - Super Middleweight (4 Rounds)

Really! I saw a Brian Peters press release and it was advertised as a worldwide stream! That is a shame, it was a good wee card. I remember Graham you tipped Coyle to beat Sinclair! Still, Coyle looked good tonight, that is the best I have seen him. Hopefully Coyle v Sinclair 2Graham Houston wrote:It wasn't worldwide. The stream was not made available for residents of Canada. You have a good memory! Yes, I liked Henry a little bit in that fight, which the bookies had even money, but Sinclair nailed him and that was that ... I guess Canada doesn't count as "worldwide".gasman wrote:Really! I saw a Brian Peters press release and it was advertised as a worldwide stream! That is a shame, it was a good wee card. Well, you are allowed to get a few predictions wrong now and again. I always enjoy reading your site plus your column in BM.Graham Houston wrote:You have a good memory! After seeing eade last time I was in Ireland, & watching mickey in the gym, I had a feeling covenny would win this. Martin bowers is doing a proper job with him, mickey had turned he's lifestyle round & with Martin they both fully deserve some success. I've known mick for 20 years & am over the moon for him .
