Just a thought, what if Harrsion lays out Fury , he does have technical ability which is something Tyson doesn't have. That would be a horrible back step for the new British heavyweights but it's not beyong the realms of possibility..

allegedly let Chisora fight on Channel 5 as Hennessey won the purse bids. No reason it had to be any different with Price.

Wazza didn't "let" Chisora fight on CH5 - he lost the purse bid !
It all comes down to the purse.
Hennessey made a significantly high offer to secure the Chisora fight.
Maybe Wazza underestimated that, hence he missed out.
This is a voluntary defence, and you can put your money on the purse offer to opponents being significantly less than Chisora earned.
The test will be the fight after - the mandatory.
If Price gets the job, then I expect Mini Frank to give Hennessey a serious run for the money.
Promotors aren't stupid.
Hennessey will have to pay top dollar if they're going to let their fighter appear on a competitor's bill.
I'm sure Hatton Promotions would gladly let Towers at him - if the price is right.

Rogie wants to get stuck in there in my opinion. He also turned down an offer to appear on the McCloskey bill due to the money. He accepted and then withdrew from Prizefighter citing a lack of notice, split with manager Brian Peters and this on and off saga for the EU title just keeps on rumbling along.

If Tyson builds up a bit of a following from the Chisora match and maybe two more fights on Ch5 and then Price beats him live on Ch5 wouldn't Price/Moloney profit from the effort put into building up Fury?

Price could then go back to Sky for the rest of his fights probably much more well known than he was before. Or does it not work like that?

Martin Rogan rejects huge offer to face Tyson Fury

Tyson Fury has been left fuming by Martin Rogan’s decision to reject a highly lucrative offer to face the British and Commonwealth heavyweight champion at the King’s Hall on September 17.

Fury’s promoter Mick Hennessy was yesterday informed by Rogan that he would not be willing to face Fury. This came 24 hours after he reportedly stated, regarding Fury, that he would “knock him out and beat him senseless”.

Hennessy said: “I can’t believe that Martin has turned down the offer to fight Tyson. He was given all he wanted — one of the best purses he’s ever had, a chance to fight for both titles and fighting in his home city.

“In the end Martin talked a good fight with Tyson but that was all, he just didn’t want to fight him and that’s a shame.”

Unbeaten Canadian Neven Pajkic was the second choice but he has also refused to face Fury who is now one of the hottest properties in world boxing.

Fury, who was denied the chance to box for Ireland at the Olympics three years ago, will now move on and face a new opponent.

Hennessy added: “Tyson can’t wait to get back in the ring after such a great win against Dereck Chisora.”

I think it's wrong of you not to say what the offer is.
IF it's a big offer then let us see how much, otherwise there is a case to say that your press release could be considered to be misleading and potentially slanderous, Rogan may have had bigger offers in the past and like I said your press release could be misleading and also which then could lead the public into having a negative perception of Mr. Rogan which as you well know could then affect future earnings.

I know if someone said something like that about of my artists I would be all over them like a fungus.

As you know I have stuck for you numerous times on here so there's no hidden agenda, I am simply pointing out where your PR could be failing you.

All of the other guys who post press releases etc actually engage with the fans... Hennesy just comes on here spams up the place and never responds...

Disagree strongly why should anyone have grant you their time?
It's the right of choice and to be honest I don't even think pro boxers or even Buncey or Frank Maloney etc etc shouldn't be on here as I think there are always assholes waiting to have a pop at them, the type who have done shit in their boxing and who are full of hate, nothing good comes out of having to defend youself on a forum to people you dont know but who think that they know you.
Familiarity really does breed contempt, Mick obviously has a degree of smarts about him that way.

This forum is not a place purely for press releases. It is a debating chamber. If promoters want to have adverts in publications they should pay for the priviledge.
If they want to be a member of a debating forum they should engage. All of the other promoters do.
If HS Press do not want to engage they should find another place for their adverts
