No, didn't really enjoy it at all to be honest.
You might make Saad's top ten list for random and unecessary A-Hole comments.
It was a joke you clown - I'm enjoying the series as much as anyone else. At least Saad has a sense of humour. :TU:

just a quibble, you call Maidana a Nicaraguan menace. He's Argentinian. still good stuff though, :TU:

I sure did, thanks for pointing that out. I don't really have an editor to pick up things like that. No idea what I was thinking.

you say you were in the minority that Pac won that fight. not sure I'd agree. I just think that the 'JMM won that fight clearly' brigade are a very vocal (and pretty large) minority. you hear them much more than those of us (and there were many) who gave it 114-113 to Pac, and they always say it with a greater degree of certitude, whereas the other side of the argument ('i thought Pac just nicked it') tends to be expressed in a less bullish manner.

Perhaps, the people I've discussed it with tend to side with Marquez at a pretty high rate. Press row was in his favor. I thought Juan won the first fight though. I'm just glad they are settling the score.

I like the inclusion of Big Nog - Crocop at halftime, nice touch :TU:

if Randall - Chavez gets in, does Randall -Rosario (excellent fight, tremendous last 2 rounds cheered nonstop by a load of Brits, all stood up) have a place in the list?

That one didn't make the cut. But it was definitely a good one.

I seem to be among a minority who believe that Marquez was closer to winning the second fight than he was the first. I scored the first fight 115-110 to Pacquiao, the second 114-113 to Pacquiao.

In their first encounter I had Pac leading 20-15 after round 2, Marquez dominating the next five rounds, and the final five rounds of the fight were all very close, many could be scored either way, but I generally went for Pacquiao with his greater activity.

They were tough fights to score, that's for sure.

Out of curiosity how did you do this? Did you start with a much bigger list and then cut it to 100 and then put them in order? Any kind of scoring or specific qualities you looked for, or was it pure entertainment value?

This one I remember vividly, I was at a wedding and it was running LONG. I had ordered the fight, but there was no DVR. So as we were getting drunk at the wedding I determined it was time to leave before the majority of the festivities. My date disagreed, so I called a cab and left her.
