I think virtually worthless to be honest fella and you've touched on the reasons why. No real market for them any more given what's available on your laptop in the privacy of your own home.

No garlic bread or barbecue wings? Do one!
I'm gonna up my offer to £9-dead, plus all the fries you can eat in one sitting plus barbeque wings and garlic bread every night for a week.

Unless of course you use the mag as a walking advert for your online porn empire.

No we are not but Deserters post gave me an Idea :TU:

You know the thing I hate about Itunes? it isnt that they pay shite money, its the fact the Apple are the ones who are retaining a full email database of your direct customers which stops you cutting out the middleman.

I always think it's better to spend other peoples money Glyn and I think that perhalps you should read between the lines of my post as it could help you :TU:

How does that even make a glimmer of sense if the magazines on the top shelf are just gathering dust? Porn-for-profit is on the slide, even online. Who actually pays for porn nowadays?
:TU: Yeah you're right the bottom has dropped out of the market (fit your anal prolapse gag in here)

Mate that doesn't even deserve a proper response, however it had better make sense to me or else 'I'm fuked.
Having been deeply involved in worldwide I.P. licensing for 22 years I will grant you some 'nachotime' and say that online porn is worth BILLIONS and IF you have the ken to tap into it properly then you my 'macho son' will be minted.
You would not believe the market for porn licensing to TV stations & also hardcopy and online downloads, some of these gals have thousands (and in this case LESS IS MORE but I wont go into that as it's currently in the process of getting protected) of mad fans who will buy their used bog roll at the drop of a poop.
However IF you REALLY want me to go into specifics as how to go about it you will have to pay me as these kind of chats usually end with a cheque for me.

As for the decline of online Porn? FF's we are in a recession & there's one dumb cock wrencher (with Paypal or C/Card) born every.....

Hope this helps :TU:

Jon, Porn-for-profit is on the slide. That's a stone cold fact. Yes, porn is probably more popular than ever but there is so much free stuff out there that turning a decent profit out of the business is getting harder by the day. I'm sure there are still people turning over enough to keep them in deep-fried Mars bars and Tennent's Super-Strength but the day of the 'porn baron' is pretty much over.
My good god man how little you know, the world is on the slide, do you think really all movies are given away to TV stations. :D made for the net then sold to the box.
You are funny Mr Macho,

BTW The Macho time moniker, Randy or Hector or even maybe even (at a push) 'Karate Ralph?
I'm curious as to why anyone would be a fan of Hector?

Jon, when porn was still taboo and the internet was in its infancy there were people making money out of:

DVDs
Mags
Websites
Adult Channel and similar
Peep shows/movies

Now:
Porn DVD sales have plummeted
Mags don't sell
Online viewers use free outlets (youporn, redtube etc)
TV stuff is competitive and is certainly not easy pickings
Peep shows/movies have all but disappeared

Most of the stuff online was never made for tv. It was made for DVDs and those DVDs don't sell in numbers any more due to rampant piracy. People will still make porn, though, because they wrongly assume they'll get rich out of it and/or they enjoy filming people shagging.

re: Moniker. On the day I decided to rejoin this site, someone had posted a picture of an ageing gentlemen asking "who is this?", nobody appeared to know, I worked out it was Macho Man Randy Savage, so used his name as my username and then posted the answer as my first post. Beyond that, it is meaningless.
Just wondered about the name, thank god it wasn't hector I wouldn't have talked to you again!

Like everything in a global resection It is declining just like everything, but FYI it's freakin huge my good man and IF you no what you are doing you can make huuuuuuuuuuge piles of Dinero.

Isn't the internet a mad thing, I mean you can actually show black for being black but there's always someone who thinks different, didn't you know that sex sells and will always sell.
And finally... :DDD

"It is estimated that Americans now spend somewhere around $10 billion a year on adult entertainment, which is as much as they spend attending professional sporting events, buying music or going out to the movies" :DDD

PS Hey Macho did you know that the computer industry & film Industry also make shitloads of money?

Fair enough.

The Guardian might cut it with some in the Commons but it doesn't even qualify as good chip paper with me. A complete waste of ink generated by some of the most politically biased, left-wing cretins the world has ever spawned, in my view.[/quote]

And you know what the funny thing is?

BTW this just came into my head and I thought it should tell you this, no idea why just thought it would bring some levity to a mad thread.

My old trainer had a mate who's wife was in the readers wife's section.
Problem was though he didnt take the photos.
He was kinda shocked when his mate handed him the mag during work hours.
