Tonight I swing by my watering hole, the Oyster House in Studio City. I just ordered beer and look up at the TV. I see it's a Dodgers game and, believe it or not, they are playing the Cardinals in St. Louis. At the moment it's the bottom of the 4th inning. The score- Los Angeles-8, St. Louis-0. Tom, you asked what the Dodgers have done for me lately? Well, at this very moment they are in your backyard and giving your boys a good old LA ass-whipping! Does that answer your question? Cheers!

Congrats! Brand spanking new? Zack look like he's getting ready to unload the right hand.

Yeah, brand new package.
He weighed in at 8 lbs. 2oz. (Exact same weight I was)
As for the right hand, maybe one day we'll work on that?

My last post on this earthquake. Just got done watching the 10pm news here in NY.
The entire hour was "Earthquake". Every angle of it explored. Sickening.
People saying the same crap for an hour- "My chair shook...".
I was surprised that the news didnt suit up some reporters ad drop them down a hole to ask the earths plates "Why did you guys slip today...?"

Its the first time I think that I wished one murder occurred somewhere in the tri-state
that they could have covered.

Sad truth be told-several murders probably did take place-but they chose to report this ground shake anyway.

Now I live on the south shore of Long Island-just a couple of short miles from the atlantic Ocean- I dont need no tsunamai coming my way now or in the future.
We dont have those "Tsunamai Warning" signs posted like Rick told us about.
I know I'm in that zone though.
Hopefully 10 more years till the next one.

We do have our first hurricane (weak) of the year heading our way though-probably hit us this weekend. Those are fun too.

Agreed. I know that I dont have to be close to a exploding hand granade to know its going to hurt. I saw the pictures from Japan,Dom Republic,Brazil, So Cal, and other places. Those 6 or 7 types are deadly and I do know you guys are prime for that kind of stuff.
Like it was mentioned before, its all in Gods hands. Being in the right place at the right time.

What happens more often and is very dangerous out by you is those wild fires. Being at the top of a hill is a bad place to be. I have met quite a few "forest jumpers" over the years and they told me some wild stories. Maybe you guys know this, that those wooded tree fires in hills and mountains burn so hot that the roots under ground burn, and they are usually all connected root wise that if a set of firefighters trying to put out a ridge of trees, the ground can give out from under them with fire crossing the ridge and pop up in the trees over on the otherside of them ,thus trapping them and burning a whole new area. Thats how it spreads without ever seeing it up in the air.
