Kerry Kayes

Post by jonp »

just had Mr Kayes to our gym tonight for a nutirition seminar.

Got to say this guy a big thanks had over 60 amatuer and pro boxers as there as well as trainers and even a boxing board guy.Kerry talked for almost two hours and answered dozens of questions thrown at him.If anybody gets the chance to go along to one of these id advise everybody to make sure they do.

Amazing info made to sound simple and a real eye opener for some of the boxers as Kerry told them the reasons for any shortcomings in there energy relating to diet.

All this done when hed been advised not to travel by his doctor.

A big thumbs up from from everyone at our gym and im sure from anybody who attended from the other midlands gyms.

Kerry Kayes is one of those rare individuals where despite never having met the man I've developed immense respect for him as based on everything I've seen and heard he conducts himself with immense class, is happy to share his extensive knowledge and has a real passion for what he does.
I get the impression he'd make an excellent columist in a title like Fighting Fit given his experience and insights. I for one would love to read it.

I've been to one of his talks in a gym in the North West and I agree with everything you said. His advice on protein intake (spread it over a whole day) and dieting (skipping meals just slows down the metabolism and makes you store fat) were the biggest insights I gained. Yes he's obviously pushing CNP in these sessions and trying to create 100 advocates for his products all at once, but it's really a privilege to hear him talk and I for one will always buy his products now too, simply for the effort he showed to sell it to our gym and the advice he was willing to give us in a lengthy session.

Kerry is a guy who is passionate about what he enjoys, he believes in his product and is always happy to share freely all that he knows.

And he knows a lot !

The unsung team around him are equally knowledgeable and helpful too.

Kerry came down to our Bristol Boxing Gym a while back to speak with our fighters amateur and pro.

Top guy who was happy to give up his time to educate our fighters on the benefit of nutrition.

Its definatley helped our fighters and can't thank him enough for the advice.

One of the best things was the Q and A.Kerry took the time to answer the question then he disected it to answer it so someone like me could understand and apply it,then he even went to the effort of going on a tangent and explaining to the person asking why how and everything else about the subject that arose.
We had over a 100 people in the room some of them under 16 and i think it was testament to the quality of the talk that the only time i had to shush the audience in nearly two hours of talking was when Kerry threw the floor open for questions.

Kerry has offered to come along in three months and do a refresher course i will post on here aand anyone in the midlands area is more than welcome to come.

Contact CNP by phone or their website, Kerry also answers posts on live fight. I got to know Kerry a few years back and consider him a close friend. His knowledge of nutrition and ability to communicate that with others is excellent , a real asset to boxing and sport in general
