Big match for Irish boxing. Big fight for Casey after his destruction at the hands of funnily enough El Chacal. The Jackal!
Re: Kiko out, Casey in!?
What about Munroe, or Rhys Roberts. I'd say this would be a chance for Jason Booth to finally claim the Euro. He has trained for Quigg. Could do both.

For what Title? Not the Euro? Casey coming off a 1st round Lose........
Re: Kiko out, Casey in!?
I think Quigg will end up top dog at this weight, I do think Frampton is class though! Matched right I see him cleaning up domestically! Only Quigg is beating him imho!!
Booth & Munroe will be gone inside the next 12 months

Re: Kiko out, Casey in!?
Kiko has allegedly vacated the title
Casey has been offered the fight
Both are in the EBU top 10
The "coming off a loss" rule has been dropped
So it could be for the EBU title

Great for Casey.... Kiko will fight the winner, twice not he has done that, got a good Relationship with the Irish
Re: Kiko out, Casey in!?
I think Booth will lose to Quigg and then retire. However, if Booth was to spar Frampton i believe he would have the beating of him. Frampton came over to Nottingham to spar Booth and on that day i happened to be in the gym so could witness it. Frampton had a good couple of rounds but then Booth worked him out and Boxed rings around him for the following 5 rounds. Frampton got out of the ring completely bewildered. However this was the fight prior to the Molitor one so Booth was in good form then. He has declined since.Bomber 1 wrote:I think Quigg will end up top dog at this weight, I do think Frampton is class though! Matched right I see him cleaning up domestically! Re: Kiko out, Casey in!?
The EBU sanctioned Cleverly-Brancalion after Brancalion had been stopped in a round in his previous fight so the rule wasn't always applied when it was apparently in use. It was a stupid rule anyway, say for example that Rhodes-Moores wanted an immediate rematch of their classic, they wouldn't have been allowed as Moore would be coming off a loss.ShadrachSimmo wrote:Is that not only if your a warren fighter?slapbangwhallop wrote:Kiko has allegedly vacated the title

Munroe i cant really tell. I doubt he will be gone inside 12 months though.
I actually drove Carl to Nottingham that day. It was snowing and we were late because the Cat & Fiddle was a nightmare.
So Carl got changed in the car because Booth as threatening to leave. I pulled up outside and Carl ran in and by the time I parked the car and came in Carl was in the ring.
Remember Carl was a three fight novice back then, it took Carl a couple of rounds to warm up and then he looked pretty good after that and made Booth swing and miss badly.
I was mostly taking photos that day but there is a 30 second video on YT as well if you want to check it out.
Not sure how you can say that Carl took the first few and after Booth figured him out then he took the next 5, because they only did 6.
It was a good learning experience for the young Carl but if anything I thought Carl shaded the last 3 in what was a very even spar.
The old thing being that Carl has got better over the past year and a half. Has Boothy?

That's what i was saying. Booth has gone backwards so it may go Frampton's way now. If we are speaking of the same day then Booth was not threatening to leave and Barry Mcguigan was also there.
