I think Tim Witherspoon was a top college American Footballer but chose boxing when it came to the crunch.

Aliaksei Kabazau scored 46 goals for England in the 1970s. He also bowled Geoffrey Boycott when he played cricket for New Zealand. Geoff afterwards said 'ohhhh aye I was playing down Picadilly and it was coming down the Bakerloo line.'

Anthony Mundine was a pro rugby league player. Kermit Cintron was an all american wrestler.
