Fury vs Corbett vs Rogan

Post by Darcy Delaney »

I've just read on facebook that Darren Corbett has offered to fight Martin Rogan for the Irish Title in September then the winner can fight Fury in December, It also say's that Corbett dropped Rogan in sparring a while back so there is a bit of needle between them, What do you think of this do you think it will happen . :box:

According to that press conference and Hennesey in particular the other day Rogan isnt getting a shot at Fury now. Dunno what to make of that. Rogan and Hennesey were blaming each other for various things. Rogan and Barrett have both been out for nearly a year. What's the deal wi Rogans EBU-EU shot?

Rogies EU title shot is off.

According to the EBU Rogie said "he had other options"

Rogie v Corbett would be a massive ticket seller in Belfast.

I've met both men. And I can say that Rogie is a funny guy, he's not above taking the piss.
Corbett takes himself far too seriously...
Mate, I could tell you stories for Corbett that would turn you against him.

Fair enough.

This happened 2 years ago:
A good mate of mine was playing a doubles pool against Corbett. My mate and his friend beat them... Corbett wanted to play my mate to try and win some cash back...
They played 3 matches double or quits, and at the end, my mate beat him all 3 times, and Corbett owed him £40.

They shook hands and Corbett bought him a drink. Everyhting was dead-on, except Corbett didn't pay up.

Much later in the night, my mate told me that Corbett didn't pay him and I suggested that he should go over and ask him for it (thinking it was just an accident, just me being nive I guess)
so, my mate went over to Corbett's table and asked him for the money and Corbett got angry and punched him in the face...
My mate was drunk he fell under the table and Corbett kicked the face off of him.

But I'll just leave it there, I don't want to get thrown off this site, but I know loyts kmore about him.

Indeed... Another poster on here said: "We've heard stories about them"... But I actually seen this. And Corbett got away with it because there wasn't enough evidence to charge him for it.
Everyone in Corbett's crowd said that some other guy (who they didn't know) did it to my mate and he got away with it.

Don't ever play him at pool, if you beat him you won't get your money...

And that's not even half the stuff he gets up to as a bouncer in certain watering holes that I have frequented.

But I'm going to leave it there. Everyone can make up their own minds.
