Geale Vs Albert

Post by Sweet P »

This card is shaping up to be a good night.

Pittman Vs Yannick should be a great fight, A real 50/50
Maxwell Vs Heremeia is another good matchup also.

Ranee Ganoy is apparently on the card also after Wood-mwetapunga was cancelled.

Yeah mate i'm watching, decent card, was rather looking forward to Wood vs Jo, and the other scheduled fight that Brunker had first, however the philipino replacement is entertaining none the less, and will be Brunkers toughest test. Heremia and Maxwell will be interesting but can't see Maxwell knocking him out.

The main and semi main will be entertaining, and it will be good to see if Pittman has found that little bit extra with Grange to get him to that level again, for mine, i think this is the fight that turns Pittmans career around.

This is no cake walk for Geale, but Geale has the skills to beat the majority in this division and it will be interesting to see how he handles Albert.

Gesle beat a World champion and a former World champion in his last two fights. He should be too good for Albert.

geale has had a solid run off opponents like brute said. But im not overly exited about this fight. But he deserves one like this. Hopefully he can get someone like Andy lee or someone similar after this. I truly think he is the best Australian born boxer in quite sometime and no mw is beyond him atm. Even Martinez...

Interviewed by the Sun Herald Geale said he promised his home state of Tasmania a title defence. He could have made more money by fighting overseas but wanted to thank the Tasmanians for their loyalty. He will probably lose money on this fight.

I agree, but i think this bloke gets better as the fight go's on, most Africans do, still think Geale will win, just honestly think Albert will pose some sort of problems here and there.

Albert is fighting way above his level; a world class fighter like Geale will have no problems with him.

Wood cancelled due to a cut to the inside of his eye during sparring.

Was actually looking forward to the fight, but these things happen..

The card still looks pretty good..

I'd love to see Bryant vs Mwetapunga, would be a well matched fight IMO.

Ive known Eromosele for sometime. He comes to fight and will be in Geale's face all fight long. Eromosele is trained by Orlando Cuellar, who also trains Glen Johnson and Luis Franco. His style is actually identical to Glen Johnson. Outside of Sylvester and MAYBE an old Karmazin, Eromosele should pose as one of Geale's tougher test. Albert has solid wins over Yori Boy and Daniel Edouard, lost a close decision against Derek Ennis in Ennis' back yard and was very game Baysnagurov despite what the scorecards showed.

I expect it to be a good fight and may the better fighter win. I know everyone on this forum will be pulling for Geale but I will be pulling for Albert to pull off the upset.

I think Emersole will make it a good fight. Im not judging the fight now as Emersoles team have requested a 3rd Neutral judge. Which is fair enough considering its for a World title. So now there is American, Australian and a third international judge.

It should be a good night of fights, Now i might sit back and watch it with a few mates over a beer or 2. :TU:

Make it a beer or ten mate. The nights you wont be judging on these major cards will be few and far between so make the most of it. As disappointing as this is, your chance will come....and when it does you will never be able to watch boxing half p.ssed again !!!

Geale outclasses his game but limited opponent is wasn't as convincing as the aussie commentaters were saying though. UD for Geale.
