Re: Marciano: Silencing the critics.
Why don't you put Louis' pathetic record beside it?
Re: Marciano: Silencing the critics.
So what your saying is 5 out of the last 6 weeks he has fought guys that were in or very close to being in the top 5.... Noob
Re: Marciano: Silencing the critics.
this thread reeks of hateration. buzz is a legend in the game producing champions season after season. i say all aboard the buzz train or get ran over and crushed by the force that is buzz.

Joe Louis record can be viewed on the Boxing Records thread.hitman09 wrote:Why don't you put Louis' pathetic record beside it?
Don Krease Promotions is a transparent, clear-cut company whose paperwork is ALWAYS updated.
The boys at GoldenBuzz fail to keep their admin of a good standard and get lax with their paperwork, in the deliberate attempt to hide their fighters poor opposition.
Re: Marciano: Silencing the critics.
That's one (asskissing) way of looking at it. But the top 5 fighters that you mention are Charles and Jackson, whom Marciano already knows he can beat and has been gorging on them to keep his high-ranking...p4p1 wrote:So what your saying is 5 out of the last 6 weeks he has fought guys that were in or very close to being in the top 5....
Where is the competitive edge in beating the same fighters over and over again?
Now, where are the historical top Heavyweights on that record?
Where is the likes of: Ali, Louis, Foreman, Frazier, Jackson, Tyson, Lewis, Holmes and Liston?
Rocky has fought NONE of these top guys!!!!
And he has fought SEVEN CPU OPPONENTS and counting... Doubtless, there will be more.
Rocky is not competing against the top fighters. He is being ruined.
And he should committ sim-suicide.

And yet Joe Louis is a former World Champion and Ken Norton has consistently been ranked in the top 25.p4p1 wrote:sim suicide that would be... allowing you to manage him?
Yeah, real good one, mate.
Re: Marciano: Silencing the critics.
lets do this
Joe Louis - "The Bad Man": 11-2-2
Week 1: W TKO6 vs Vitali Klitchsko -
Week 2: W UD vs Joe Jeanette - high draft pick only just a first round
Week 3: W UD vs Sam McVey (McVey down 3 times!) - second round draft pick
Week 4: Majority Draw vs James Jeffries (2 judges scored even, 1 judge scored Louis) - has not done anything of note so far
Week 5: Draw vs Greg Page (Page down in the 11th!) - a draw agaisnt a CPU opponent
Week 6: W SD vs Sonny Liston (Liston down twice!) WBC Title Eliminator - took this fight because their was no other option
Week 7: L TKO15 vs Muhammad Ali WBC Title - same as above but loss
Week 8: W TKO1 vs Jimmy Young - either CPU opponent or one of the last selected
Week 9: W UD vs James Jeffries - see week 4
Week 10: W UD vs John Ruiz (Ruiz down twice!)... (Corbett run from Joe) - CPU - Corbett is a 2nd round draft pick u have the second draft pick overall
Week 11: W TKO5 vs Jess Willard - CPU
Week 12: W TKO11 vs Joe Mesi (Mesi down in the 11th!) CPU
Week 13: W KO14 vs Mike Tyson WBA Title (Tyson down twice!) - cant complain a good win
Week 14: L Majority Decision vs Jack Johnson WBA Title another loss agaisnt a lower rated fighter
Week 15: W TKO5 vs Gerrie Coetzee (Coetzee down in the 4th!) - CPU
Week 16 vs Jack Dempsey WBC Title
so thats 3 opponents in the top 10 when louis fought them only winning one, 4 CPU oppents (1 draw), 2 second round picks (im counting young as barry joined after the draft took place).. and still 1 - 2 in title fights with a second pick

Re: Marciano: Silencing the critics.
Your right P4P. Crease is an absolute joke of a Manager. He is in no state to dictate what Buzz does. Buzzis the leading manager in the sims. Marciano just beat Peter Jackson who is a 2time Champion and the only guy to defeat the Rock.
Crease couldnt manage Loius to Beat my far lesser fighter in Jeffries.
I vote crease be banned for 3 fights for critisising Buzz

Re: Marciano: Silencing the critics.
How many times are you going to get it WRONG p4p1?
I guess there's no pleasing some people.
Actually, the Commish orginally matched Marciano vs Joe, and I wanted them to fight... But Buzz pulled out. When Liston was drafted in, I took the fight. I was under no obligation and took it of my own free-will.p4p1 wrote:Week 6: W SD vs Sonny Liston (Liston down twice!) WBC Title Eliminator - took this fight because their was no other option
Same as above... Took the fight voluntarily. And a tough fight it was too.p4p1 wrote:Week 7: L TKO15 vs Muhammad Ali WBC Title - same as above but loss
Young is a drafted fighter.p4p1 wrote:Week 8: W TKO1 vs Jimmy Young - either CPU opponent or one of the last selected
Even Ali has fought cpu opponents, we all do it... And now you complaining when I fight drafted fighters?p4p1 wrote:Week 10: W UD vs John Ruiz (Ruiz down twice!)... (Corbett run from Joe) - CPU - Corbett is a 2nd round draft pick u have the second draft pick overall

And that was a mandatory victory. Louis has rightfully earned that title shot.p4p1 wrote:Week 13: W KO14 vs Mike Tyson WBA Title (Tyson down twice!) - cant complain a good win
Johnson is one of the highest rated fighters in the Heavyweight division isn't he?p4p1 wrote:Week 14: L Majority Decision vs Jack Johnson WBA Title another loss agaisnt a lower rated fighter
Huh? Coetzee is managed by Barry... for fucksake man, at least get your facts right, will you?p4p1 wrote:Week 15: W TKO5 vs Gerrie Coetzee (Coetzee down in the 4th!) - CPU
Re: Marciano: Silencing the critics.
coetzee and young taken after the draft was finished
johnson was doing bad and only picked up over the next few weeks

To answer this dictator:
I would remind you of the incident known as: "Marquezgate"....

Have you got a short memory? I would refer you to the result of Week 9.ben k wrote:Crease couldnt manage Loius to Beat my far lesser fighter in Jeffries.
Re: Marciano: Silencing the critics.
And yet another hallow victory for Marciano against a weak, cpu opponent... (And he's meant to be a World Champion of a major belt)
I really don't know how the old man gets away with it all. Being allowed to keep hsi belt...

Re: Marciano: Silencing the critics.
Marciano Respects Jackson who has stepped up to face off on three ocasions...NEVER RUNNING.....Marciano has won 2 out 3.
Lummox and Louiser are nothing but runners.
They bring paper bags of crap to Rocky's Door....they attach the bag to the door.....knock loudly.....and tear out for the wild blue yonder when they hear Rocky approaching the door.
They make a lot of noise about "wanting a fight", but in the end all they leave behind is a mess and a bad smell.

Re: Marciano: Silencing the critics.
Yes yes you call us out quite well, no one does a better job of "calling out"...that's for sure! You get the prize on that score. Problem is.....you just don't show up for any fights. However we completely understand your fear, and thus you are forgiven.Owl wrote:BoxBuzz wrote:Marciano Respects Jackson who has stepped up to face off on three ocasions...NEVER RUNNING.....Marciano has won 2 out 3.

I called you out several times. Check the written record. Also re-read the part where I say you are an idiot.
And....as we have said before when you have thrown out your accusations....we agree that we are indeed idiotic.....to ever even IMAGINE that you would send your Lummox to the Rock for dismantling.
You'll find you have no argument with us on these matters. We are in complete agreement.
Now run over to the Deli and pick me up a nice Corned beef on Rye, and a Coke.
Re: Marciano: Silencing the critics.
The Bad Man has called Marciano out this week. Drop your IBF Title and face him, (just as Louis was going the WBO to make the fight happen).BoxBuzz wrote:Lummox and Louiser are nothing but runners.
Re: Marciano: Silencing the critics.
You are afraid.....admit it. When both titles needed to be tossed to make the fight....you were not willing.
Sadly you bring nothing to the table but talk this week. Coming off a loss we can't even consider you....and refusing to fight John L Sullivan puts you in the penalty box forever in our estimation. I can't believe Louis had to be drafted into a fight.
Wait....no I CAN believe it.....It's anothere weekly CREASE DEBACLE.

Then why not call my bluff??? Louis offered to fight Marciano and you ran away... Again.BoxBuzz wrote:You are afraid.....admit it.

Because we fear another loss.
Huh?BoxBuzz wrote:and refusing to fight John L Sullivan
First off, Louis called Sullivan out initally.
And secondly, the fight is happening.

Week 18 result:BoxBuzz wrote:Crease will get out his XKE and hightail it for the hills when he hears that the Boston Strongboy has had it with the shenanigans and wants to deliver unto Louis an "old fashioned hyding"
I love it when Buzz is proved wrong...(again).

You never "took" the fight....it was forced upon you.
The record is clear.
Now shut up MORE....than ever before.
Re: Marciano: Silencing the critics by fighting bums
Marciano has to defend his title this week against a top-class opponent.
The odds are 3/1 that BoxBuzz will drop his title rather than face Joe.
