How would a Prime Spud Faire against your John Saxons of todays era

gazmac- I like your style  :TU:
Its unfair to compare posters of different era's but for my money Spud outclasses Jon Saxon every day of the week. Different levels...
Have to disagree on this one, the millionaire scottish business entrepreneur Jon Saxon is the Duncan Bannatyne of this forum and way too savy for the likes of Spud.

Image
There is something quite disturbing (in a David Lynch type of way If you see what I mean) about this photo.

Why did this guy leave or was he banned?

That's the key to this contest, I feel.

An active Spud would run rings around Saxon. If a PM from "cakes" was enough to make Jon's arse collapse I coudn't see him standing up to a sustained barrage of abuse from the north east's answer to John Merrick.

But Spud's been missing in action for 6 months now, while Saxon's plethora of nauseating posts show no sign of abating despite him being ridiculed on a daily basis.

It could be just a matter of quantity over quality as Spud sinks into middle age sloth. The passing of the torch.

I love coming on a random thread and seeing it taken over by Spud talk

By the way, as his name has been mentioned more than 3 times, shouldn't he suddenly appear?

I spoke to him for while yesterday.
He says that he's kept away due to his current employment with Hayemaker, and didn't want to get involved in any rucks on here.
In usual Swarzenegger style he made it clear he'll be back and the message to us all was that we are a set of tossers.
Jesus - I can't wait for the first set to between Spud and Saxon !

I've heard he is rebranding as King Edward in a hope of a peeling to a wider audience and capitalising on the Jersey Royale family's popularity, he's hoping to become a blue chip brand capable of ploughing his own furrow in the boxing business. Eye personally don't think he can pull it off, but you know Spud he refuses to jacket in.

After all, as the great man once said, today's news is tomorrow's chip paper. Spud disagreed with the great man, putting it down as mere banter when they met, "it was nothing really, he says Po-tate-to, I say Po-tart-toe.

just spud's habit of decrying any post he disagreed with, or more specifically posts which seemed to slight his current employers, as 'obviously having some kind of agenda'

but anyway, joke ruined.

A few months ago, after a Wlad interview on SSN I described Wlad as being ' a credit to the sport'. I then got a message of Spud asking what my point was? I repeated that Wlad was a credit to the sport and that I have always liked the Klits. He then accuses me of playing a 'clever game' and deletes me off Facebook. He obviously thought I was jibing Haye. All very strange.
LOL he once deleted someone off Facebook because they agreed with something I said!
