I think i read Heffrons sister was pregnant to him and still with him. I think the kid he raised was to an ex. Doesnt he also have a big tatoo of the kids name too?

I think Frankie said in the Sep Boxing monthly interview, that maybe the people he hangs around are not ideal, or something like that, which set alarm bells ringing....so that might be behind the reason for a new start down south.
Possibly on Warren's advice......

I have to be honest, I know the intentions are good but I would rather not see his personal laundry being hung out here in less he chose to do that himself. It's being talked about like Eastenders, with 2 and 2 adding up to 5 in some posts.

Regarding the London move, it's great for me. I'm going to try and get down and see him train as soon as I can get an afternoon off work, I hope he'll be here for a while. Tibbs is a very good trainer and anyone who saw Mitchell fight Prescott will know he can make serious improvements in helping his charges avoid being hit. I know Prescott is raw, but anyone who saw Mitchell fight Johansson or Walter Estrada would have seen his head popped back violently with regularity in both fights. Full respect to Mitchell, but with Gavin, Tibbs has more to work with.

I think Tibbs can aid Frankie’s development and I'd have no problem if in 1, 2 or 3 years Frankie went off to find another trainer. No harm in some variety providing it works, each to their own. When people say Arnie was a strange choice because his own style as a boxer was so different, I just don't agree. George Graham didn't defend as a player but built his entire management career around a solid defence. Do as he says, not as he did.

The move could be the making of Frankie as a pro..... And I maintain the unwavering belief that he'll be a great world champion.

I don't really rate tibbs, when Kevin got smashed by katsides no1 said tibbs done a bad job but now Kevin beat murray, tibbs has done a good job.

McCracken is also a trained chef, it's the route he was going to take post-boxing. He cooked Carl's meals and gave his recipes and things to stick to. I think Frankie could perhaps with some of that approach if his eating is poor.

This is almost certainly the right move and given Gavin's woeful performances in his last two outings it was an inevitability - as I wrote at the time. Farnell will likely take this hard but it is part of the learning process and however down he feels today, it will be no worse than how Brian Hughes felt when he (Arnie) chose to move to pastures new. Gavin, in my view, needs somebody to get a grip of him. He's got all the talent in the world but he's a prat, you could see that by the way he was conducting himself when he and Farnell were being interviewed by that lass from FWTV before his last fight and his general conduct in the run up to that event. He needs to get serious and that will require a disciplinarian to be brought in - Tibbs is, therefore, ideal.

x2 These are all just 'growing pains' for Arnie and as strange as it may sound, it's these types of experiences that will potentially see him go from strength to strength. To paraphrase an old saying, it's not about how you get knocked down, it's about how you get back up
