Totally overrated. Will get exposed as soon as he steps up - like last time.

I don't think he can be over rated now given how shit everyone said he was after the Katsidis fight.

Mitchell is a good fighter, and he comes across as a nice fella. I expected him to beat Prescott, and was impressed how he did it. Then there was the Katsidis fight, which was a kick up the arse for him. Against Murray he was assured, intelligent, and hungry. To be honest, I don't think there is a lot not to like with Mitchell. A Katsidis rematch will probably make or break Mitchells career, and I'm impressed that it's the fight he is chasing.

gave us one of the FOTY candidates so far and showed incredible cojones and no little talent coming straight back after a shocking defeat and over a year out in a bad way to perform like that against an unbeaten and tough operator like Murray. Boxed rings around Prescott with skills and patience, battered Murray with brutal uppercuts and heart.

Deserves more credit

I like Kevin Mitchell. Every time I've seen him he has been entertaining. He's potentially the best lightweight in the country. I think a fight with Rios would be brutal for Mitchell.

He's a very good european level fighter. Just wish he wasnt so susceptible to negative distractions.

Wrong. Kevin Mitchell has worldclass boxing skills but he just doesn't have the punch resistance..

In terms of ability, he's an elite.. A whole lot better than the real domestic levels like the Murrays and the Burns of the world..

Mitchell is a joy to watch. He moves around the ring superbly, hits hard (ask Murray) and throws beautiful combinations. His performance against an albeit one dimensional Murray was exceptional.

If they meet again, I see the same thing happening to Katsidis that happened to Murray.

Kevin is apparently going to be on the Burns-Katsidis undercard.
