iv been to every 1 of bellews press conference in liverpool and i can gaurentee there are always more than 50 its just they stop letting people in after a certain amount (FACT).

my point is how can some1 say he brought 50 people to a conference so that means he would bring over 10,000 to his fight???

I do think people underestimate Clev's fan base. He spent years on Calzaghes undercards and is Wales's #1 fighter right now.

yeh but enzo mc sells allot more tickets than him, i mean come on dont people think its strange that he doesnt fight in his own country?

lets say bellew wins and some1 like danny mc say, gets a shot do you think bellew will go to his back garden or do you think he would go to liverpool

Calzaghe often fought outside of Wales in his early days. I think Clevs in the process of developing a broader GB fan base in the same way. If he fought a top name I think he'd already sell well in Cardiff. Continuing to win in fights in England will help with the broader appeal.

Calzaghe had a much wider fan base than Clev currently has. Maybe a win in this fight will work in the same way as Calzaghes Eubank win. Right now I don't think many fans from England would travel to Wales to watch him.

Fair game I say. Whenever someone calls me a wanker I call the Old bill on them. Call me a c*unt and you can expect a challenger 2 battle tank to come crashing through your front room.

Like i said before mate, it goes back further than today. it all initially started at the London presser when they announced the fight.... not defending anyone here, just pointing out that this is a continuation of that and not an isolated incident.
fair enough but its not like hes a father and hes had a rant coz of all the pre fight tention, hes a trainer and should be much more proffesional. cleverly and bellew certainly dont get along and there has been a rivalry for a while but even with all there bad blood they both kept there cool, and didnt get involved. vince needs to stay away from the press conferences if he cant handle an insult/pressure.

 It's all getting a bit pathetic now, if Vince is really getting that wound up about things then he better jack it in if Nathan beats Tony & the Hopkins fight happens as Hopkins will see this and do it 10x as bad

You know every move Clev and his camp make. I thought you were part of the team in some way, maybe a relative.

Just a fan. why?

I certainly don't think Vince should have reacted like he did and whoever called the police was daft but, at the same time, the people around Bellew should tidy their act up or be given their marching orders. FW has never liked hangers-on, they're a nuisance.
you say it all in the first few words. Vincent Cleverley is a middle-aged boxing trainer enough said

hes acting like a 5 year old, and like you say hes a boxing trainer, so he should act like one.

he says he was calling me a wanker, so what if he was. grow up

when vincent keeps saying cleverly will destroy bellew, should bellews trainer start crying and acting like a clown saying he said my fighters going to get beat, i want to have a fight and act crazy. no is the answer. nobody should try to even in the slightest try to justify vincents actions. this type of pre fight build up will always go on in boxing and if people want to start fighting after every insult they hear, then they shouldnt be involved in the sport at all

What are Vince Cleverly's training credentials by the way?

Was he involved in the sport before taking up his son's coaching responsibilities?

Carl Froch apparently is who Bellew been sparring.
Froch is in Canada or the states now, so can't imagine he did many if any rounds with Bellew. If its big Enzo Mac then that doesn't mean much. Neither will have what I would call 'elite level' sparring.
