Mark Krence

Post by Syntax Error »

Mr Krence is my new boxing hero!!!!!!!!!    :o

Up at the crack of dawn, working in a butchers shop, takes a fight at less than 15 hours notice & puts up a gutsy performance like that. :TU:

I sincerely hope that the big fat lazy bum called Danny Williams wasn't watching, because he should hang his head in shame! He's a disgrace to boxing!

He's so spineless, not only wouldn't he fight Skelton, he got his wife to phone in sick to allegedly! :x

What a big spineless, yellow bellied, lazy bum he is! :x

I agree with that, maybe if Warren had heard HIM sounding ill then perhaps he would have more sympathy.

I generally agree, but I will not call someone who faced the 6 foot 8 Klitchsko yellow bellied.

Strange really, how a man can go from KO'ing Mike Tyson, and then staging a brave losing performance against the World No 1, to being effectively denounced as a quitter by his promoter on national television. Bizarrely this could be the end of Williams, clearly he had some issues that he cannot seem to resolve.

Good point.

It's so unlike Williams.

He isn't the greatest fighter ever, but he has always shown heart.

There definitely something going on.

Dosh. Had he been at cruiser would he have picked up a tidy payday yesterday or against Audley Harrison? He can make far more cash as a useful domestic heavy than as a better domestic cruiser.

Well I think you are probably right and wrong sir. Maybe he could make more noise at cruiser, but not enough to beat the best domestic guys like Haye, Hobson, Maccarinelli and Carl Thompson. So he can probably earn better and do about the same at heavyweight.

The thing with Krence is strange...... :o

He pulled out the fight with Koc because of an injury and stepped into the ring with Skelton as a last minute replacement..... :o

Welcome to the Warren-show or what?

Yes good points. Not sure facing some of those guys would be that much worse punch wise than facing Skelton. Might as well make as much money as he can.

I was not suprised he pulled out at all!!!

I was more suprised (and very sceptical) when he took the fight in the first place.

There is no way Williams could have expected to win that un, Skelton would break his heart.

Could Danny just have been trying to screw up Warren's ITV debut?

Because, if Tyson's knee didn't get injured in the fight, Mike would have KO'ed him in the 1st or 2nd round..... He was never that good....

I don't give credit to Dannys reasoning saying; "I wasn't scared of Tyson or Klitschko why would I be scared of Skelton" logic.

He had more to lose by losing to Skelton. If he lost to Tyson or Klit he'd have only gone back to British title level, which is where he was anyway, but would've been a lot richer for it. However, if he'd had have lost to Skelton it would've been a lot worse for him. Whered he have gone from it?

It's so funny looking back at this thread & seeing all the stick that Danny took, yet now he is almost a hero for exposing the conman that is 'Parcel Force' Harrison!

It makes Mark Krence look even more of a hero now!!!! :box:

Because Danny would have to slim down to be a super heavyweight, let alone anything else.

This is very true. He still isn't my hero though. I feel that logic goes out the window in boxing sometimes. "Audley Harrison is crap. Okay Danny struggled to beat him, but he is still our hero for beating Audley, because Audley is crap."
